Good Afternoon ladies,

I am writing to ask a question and hopefully i can get some advice. First off i was referred from another member on another board and she is so right you guys are awesome, been reading other post on here.

I had my TR on 09/18/07
My doctor told me the right tube was not repairable and the left was open and good, me and my DH are excited and cant wait to start trying next month
what are my chances and how long has everyone been trying, i am thinking that i O on the right side and the doctor said if that happens they can give some meds to make me O on the left side, has anyone every taken that route and if so any advice .

I am Shilo, one of the co-hosts here.
One of our members here is pregnant with only one open tube, and the Due in August board section that I am part of had babies born from women with only one tube, same with the 2WW board I am on, it is TOTALLY possiible hon!
So exciting to be trying to conceive.

welcome to you I am Kim AND I will say your wait may be a bit longer then if both your tubes were open, but MOST defiantly you can and probably will get pregnant...

I am Di and I have been on this board for about 18 months or so now.

I am pretty sure that I am the person who Shilo was talking about, being pg with only one tube .

We began our 2nd TR baby at the beginning of 2006 and I was lucky enough to get pg in May 06. Went on to have a m/c , but at least I knew that I could get pg. At this stage, I thought I had 2 open tubes. I got pg again in Sept 06, but sadly lost this pg'y aswell .

We kept trying to no avail. In June 07, we saw a FS who ordered a HSG to see if my tubes were indeed open. It was discovered that only my right tube was and my left was blocked where the tube joined the uterus . Little did I know, that we would go on to catch that sneaky egg the following week.

I am currently nearly 14 weeks pg and so far, so good.

So u see, it can happen with only one tube hon, it just may take a little longer thats all.

I cant wait to get to know u and follow ur journey with u .

Hello... Im Amber! Pregnant w/ only ONE tube... I had my TR in Dec of last year, got pregnant just a month later. Ended up losing that baby to ectopic and the left tube! 2 months later I was pregnant again... I am now currently 26 weeks pregnant! Anything is possible and there is no time limit! Good luck to you hun!

Hello i am Christina and I only have one tube also. My rt is clear abd there is a blockage in the left. I seen a 3 times. They ended in early loss. The DR says if was not for me watching my cycles I would have never known. (like that helps) It has been 19 months since my TR. Juisat keep faith that our turn will come.bighug
