Yes Im very *stoked* and nervous for some odd reason.

The tests Im having done now, I already had them done in January of this year, so Im sure they will be ok, but it still sits in the back of my mind that something could go wrong. After all we cant see daily inside our bodies..lol

Yes hes making my DH go for a S/A, he(dr) didnt seem to be too concerned if it doesnt turn out perferct, but says it benefits us if he went and done it. DH is going for that April 14th.

We have Dr Peter McComb, hes going to be performing the procedure, and yes those two other doctors are there, but my GYN refered me to Dr P. McComb, so Im going to stick with him. And get this, Im being charged the $5500 as of right now, I havent gotten the exact bill yet, wont get it till April 30th pending my tests come back good. The initial cost doesnt concern me at all, as to me having a family, larger family for that matter is not equivalent to money. Money can be replaced and earned, a child cant

You mentioned you had the FSH test, he said to me I dont have to have it done, I guess every doctor is different then. I do wonder if he may send me at my next appointment tho, but doubt it.

Im aiming and hoping to have the procedure done by June 13,2008 at the latest. He said we can book the appointment on the 30th of April for 4-5 weeks from then

As of right now Ive gotta wait it out and hope I dont drive my DH nuts...LOL We also told the boys we are getting it done, they are excited. Not so much my oldest as his pet peeve are crying babies and making sure things are out of arms reach for a baby...But im sure he will adapt quite well.

Anyways bye for now

I forgot to add that name. Dr Peter McComb, I know he is a very adept and very capable doctor/surgeon.
I'm sure it will be great. The price varies from Dr to Dr. The hospital charged 1700, and Dr Cheung charged 2000, which brought it up to 3700. I was told that if i was not spending the night, and only doing day surgery, then the hospital charge is less, and that was what was reflected in the price. (although for me, i REALLY didnt want to go home after the surgery, lol, i wanted to be drugged and left to sleep, ouch!)
They are great people, the whole team, regardless of who does it, and before you know it, you will have your little one!
Im sure everything will be fine! Try not to stress too much, and congrats again on your plan being in motion!
