Im not 100% certain if Im ovulating to my knowledge, but according to the ovulation test my family doctor made me do in January, and all the other tests I had done by him (blood work and ultrasound) he said Im ovulating. My gynecologist said the same thing in February 2008 and my blood work done this month said same thing...It drives me nuts to go past the 35 day mark, cus then im waiting and waiting...driving myself nuts. I never feel when its gonna come either, so thats even more of a pain. I know TMI,sorry. The surgeon did look at the chart I gave him and said well lets do a blood test to check for progesterone,(ovulation test). I did call and got my results on that, apparently its all good, just my immunity to german measels were down...So I had to go get a vaccine, which I done this past monday.
Ive been this way for my menstrual cycle since October 2003, cant pin point my dates since, but you can get a rough idea of how it would go from then till now. He is concerned about the 13 weeks gap I had from November 2007 to February 2008. But didnt raise issues to me that I should wait to get the surgery done until regulated etc. Told me go get these tests done, and if everything comes out good then we will book the surgery when I go see him next.Im hoping I dont have to wait. My DHs SA test came out excellent I think, 70% mobility and shape (what ever that means), with a sample of just over 5 mils and 90 million per milliliter. All that is not quite over my head, but I would like the doctor to tell me face to face if that is good or what.
I will let you and everyone else know how the appointment on the 30th goes, or if i hear any news prior...Just figured I would ask about my cycle and stuff, since its getting past my time that I should of gotten it. If I dont ask here, then I ask my DH and he knows nothing about it..LOL
But thanks for replying, is always nice to hear from you and others.

regulating cycles may be sumthing that will have to be worked on, but if you are ovulating, then its all good.
I would start temping this cycle.. or even right now, just to get the hang of it. that will tell you lots about when you ovulate and when should show. I started temping before my surgery, just to get used to it.
Ovulation Calendar and Ovulation Chart - FertilityFriend.com is a great site for temping/charting.
d/h's SA sounds great.
5 ml and 90 million per ml means he had 450 million swimmers in his sample and with 70% mobile, then that means more than half of that were good swimmers. Very good #s, you can google search sperm analysis to find out more im sure.

Thanks for the fertility chart
I will start on that tomorrow morning right when i get up.
From your experience, do you think I would need to regulate my cycles befor i get my surgery done, or do you think i would be able to get the surgery done and then work on it?

Again thanks for the chart I will be sure to keep using it.

Well, if there is nothing wrong with your hormones, and you just have long cycles, then the only way you would be able to regulate your cycles is by taking hormones each month. you dont want to do this unless you have to, as there are side effects that can cause problems. STarting now would be pointless as there is nothing good to come of stimulating your follies every month if no pregnancy is going to occur, and by the time you DO want to get pregnant, you may have already been on the hormones too long and they will have to stop them.
Just temp, chart.. and see. You can chart regardless of how long your cycles are'
Maybe you just have a long luteal phase? i suggest taking the free course at fertility friend it is GREAT!
