Ok I made an appointment to talk to the Dr about hsg.I am going in Monday morning at 8 am.I am hoping I can still get it done this cycle.I am on CD5 .I will be on CD 9 on Monday.Do you think it will be to late to get it done this cycle?I thought it had to be done before CD11.I am so happy I cant wait to get some answers.I know most of yall are thinking she just had a baby.I am just thinking in the back of my mind that they closed back up.Does anyone know how often that happens?Wish me luck...It is just to ease my own mind.

I've had it it done twice and each time they told me to schedule it cycle day 7-10. Every doctor seems to be a little bit different but hopefully you're still within the right time frame to get it done.

If the tubes r going to close up, they usually do so within the first 6 months 'after' the TR surgery. This is the time that the scar tissue will build up and if they dont close within that first 6 months, then scar tissue wont form and the tubes wont close, after this time frame. This is what my Dr has told me .

I am pretty confident Leslie, that at least one of ur tubes is patent, as u have conceived and delivered a baby after ur TR, which is a great sign.

I hope u get to have the HSG this cy hon, it will ease ur mind tremendously.....

Dianne, Thanks so much.I hope so too.It might be to late this cycle.I am hoping she lets me do it Monday or Tuesday.What is the time frame for this?I will be on CD11 on Tuesday.I heard you have to do it before CD 11 is this right?

Every doctor's a little bit different. They mostly just want to make sure it's done before ovulation so there is no risk you could be pregnant.
