I'm so confused! You all knew I did a hpt on Monday (dpo13) and had a faint positive. The betas came back negative and the nurse at the REs office said the positive could have been a result of the hcg trigger in my system still.

Well, today I'm dpo15 and expecting af. I had an appt with the RE to talk to him about doing a double IUI next cycle. Since af didn't start this morning (normally she comes in the morning), I decided to test again before going to the REs...

I hope you can see it; it is a faint positive. I cancelled my REs appt, hoping that it is really real! What do you think?

I can see them, they look real to me, and I really can't imagine that a trigger shot would still be in your system at 15 dpo, that seems pretty long! do you still have mondays to compare them to?
I hope that the are real bfps for you DJ!

Yeah, I could have another beta done but I said that I'm going to wait a few days just in case. Monday's betas left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't want to rush things and get another negative on the betas.

I can see it it in photo one, re-test re-test! even labs make mistakes...

Hey DJ, did u get an actual Beta number or did u just have the -/+ beta blood test done??

The -/+ beta test is called a Qualitive HCG Test and that will only tell u if it is a or .

The Beta test which gives u the actual HCG #, is called a Quantative HCG Test, this will give u a starting number, which could be as low as 5, but could still be , but they will say it is a , because it is relying on u having a second HCG Quantative done, at least 48 hours later, to see if it has gone up or not...........KWIM!!

I can see the line, but it is very faint, so it could be the trigger, but I would think that by 15DPO, the trigger would be well and truly gone out of ur system.

I hope that stays away and that this is it for u hon. and go and have a Quantative HCG blood test done ok
