Re: Gtky~tell Us About Your Kids...
I have three children
DeAnjelo Andreas (goes by DJ- long story) will be 12 a week from today! He is definitely a momma's boy. He plays video games and hangs out on club penguin on the net. He is also a nut for bowling. He gets that from his dad and his step-dad. He's on a league and averages about 150 right now.
Shyanne Alexus (I call her shygirl) turned 9 in January. She is anything but shy! She loves school and otherwise just hangs out with her friends and reads. She's a very touchy feely kid- the kind that will follow you around the house and sit on your lap...I love her- but it drives a person crazy sometimes! She also bowls on a league and averages about 97 now.
Madori Marie (I call her dori-ree) will be 4 in August. She is the smartest little kid in the world and has an attitude like you wouldn't believe. She likes Sesame Street and anything yellow. She's bowling on her first league and averages about 34.

Re: Gtky~tell Us About Your Kids...
I have 2....Jenna is 6, her birthday is Dec 27th, she is very athletic, all legs, and she is pretty fearless, will try anything, just like mommy! we recently discovered at the State Fair that she likes fast, upside down rides! And she is tall enough, so i had a ride partner, it was great. She is just about done with 1st grade, is blonde with blue eyes and is going to be a supermodel dr someday.
Michael just turned 4 on April 13th. He is a little more hesitant to try new things, and is not very adventurous or athletic, but its so cute to see him try! He has brown hair and hazel eyes and it going to be a heartbreaker. I am thinking if he is anything like his father, he is going to be a very charming mooch someday....lol. He is quite the ladies man in daycare.

Re: Gtky~tell Us About Your Kids...
My oldest Andrew Cyril just turned 18 on April 10th. He is smart, sarcastic and loves to debate everything. Comes off as being quiet or shy, he is anything but, he just feels hes too SMART to partake in our silly conversations. Not into sports, into computer stuff, programming etc. he is just over 6 feet.
My middle child, Caitlin Grace is 14. She is sweet, kind quite absent minded and has NO clue how to deal with numbers, math, telling time etc... just seems to totally evade her. She is a bit naive for 14, people always think she is alot younger, she just had her first visit on her 14th birthday Jan 12th, poor girl... made me realize though that she is indeed growing up. Never mouthy, never argumentative, and quite the character. She is slightly taller than my imposing 5'1 height.
My youngest is Anthony Samuel David... he turned 12 on Sept 13th. He is my challenge. Slightly immature for his age, he seems to suffer from anxiety, but was misdiagnosed as adhd most of his life. Likes to say weird things to his teachers.. example... his teacher asks, "Anthony, why are you so tired this morning?" Anthony's reply.... "I was doing heroin all weekend." yes... seriously.... "anthony, whats your facourite food...." anthony's reply... "poop".... ahem.... yes. I get phone calls every day, he got brought home by the principal twice this week for saying inappropritae things. He doesnt say stuff like that at home though.. just at school. Draws alot of negative attention to himself. Not sure why... he has been in counselling etc., is currently in couselling now... TRULY he just seems to get a big kick out of the shock value. I told him he should direct that creative energy into drawing or writing etc. ... we TALk alot, discuss alot, SUCh a work in progress, sumtimes im just exhausted. He doesnt fight, vandalize or swear at school... just acts like a weirdo and likes to weird people out. He has a bad habit however of stealing ANYTHING from his older brother, taking it places with him (cell phone, iPod etc) and then trying to sneak it back into place before his brother notices. he is constantly losing priviledges. argh!

Re: Gtky~tell Us About Your Kids...
MY turn..... I have 2 boys. Skyler is my oldest. He turns 11 in May. My how time flies. He is a typical cowboy. Loves horses, riding, roping. Rides miniature bulls in rodeos & has won quite a few buckles at that. He is also a state champion shooter. He plans to be a teacher when he grows up.
Morgan is 8 & is just getting into shooting. But I think he will outshoot his brother before the year is out. He is a perfectionist. He wont do anything unless it is just right. Drives us crazy sometimes. He has just started YOung Marines & is loving it. He plans to be a Marine Sharpshooter some day.
I guess if you want to count Trey, he is still in utero but his favorite thing is giving mommy heartburn.

Re: Gtky~tell Us About Your Kids...
I love this thread
My son Dustun is quite the genius in algebra he averages 100
yes a 100 since school started this year as well as last.
we had a fender bender march,2006 since he has been terrified to drive as a learning permit but kinda decided not to go any further with it...
he loves sports and the computer...
My SON Mikey was diagnosed at 3 with Autism, he pretty much lived in his own world... However with allot of intense teaching from a special class ad special lady, you can hardly tell(probably couldn't unless you knew him)
that he was autistic, its very mild...
However Michael loves music he loves korn and allot of various alternative
artist, he loves to sing but if he thinks your listening he freezes up, but did I mention the boy has talent?
He also plays football and enjoys his myspace page and mp3 player as well as his vids.
Jared he is my olmost teen he loves to fish and his new obsession is girls...
He can't wait to grow up, but I can my kids are growing up to fast...
Leo is a sweet boy, he has sensory issues, opposite of like, for instance If i get anything on my hands I have to wash them right away, but LEO is the opposite he requires the need to explore the feeling he loves to feel things
he also loves elmo and the tv... he likes to pound on the keyboard of the computer in the boys living room...
Elijah he is something always smiling unless he is hungry, he was born with a third nipple, however when he gets bigger it will just look like a giant freckle.right now it looks like is other two nipples indented but with time it will lose that look and all that will be seen will be the aeola part (Mark Walhberg has one)
thanks everyone for sharing, all of your kids sound awesome

Re: Gtky~tell Us About Your Kids...
My oldest two are actually my husband's nieces. We adopted them last year because their mom is disabled and unable to care for them independently. Their mom (my SIL) lives with us, too.
Alejandra is the oldest. She is 12 1/2. She is very sweet but has really bad ADHD, bless her heart, which had never been trated. She talks non-stop to the point of making your head spin and it is a constant battle not to lose her glasses, shoes, homework, cell phone, train of thought, etc. Grades have been a struggle, too. She started medication recently and things seem to be getting a little better. She's such a beautiful person inside and out that I hope we can help her get a handle on this.
Renata is 10 1/2. She has a form of autism but also has never had any treatment. We are on a waiting list to get her into a special program through the county. We're hoping to find out something soon. She is very sweet natured but she does not talk. She undertands and she will nod, point, and write....just no talking. Hopefully we will be able to get the help she needs, too.
Max turns 4 next week. He is a little spit fire. He is curious about everything and really smart. He cracks me up on a daily basis with the things he says.
Sage would have been 18 months. He was born with curly auburn hair and chubby cheeks...just adorable...and now he is my precious angel in Heaven.
Little bean in my belly will either be Maria Sabina or Manuel Bennett. So far this little one is being kind to mommy and not making me too sick. I really am enjoying this pregnancy.

Re: Gtky~tell Us About Your Kids...
Hi everyone. This will be a little long since I have seven
Okay, first I have Amanda, who turned 16 last September. She loves to read, go to the movies, has a quirky sense of humor, and is a nice, down to earth girl. Ryan is my oldest boy, he turned 14 on February 1st. He, too has a quirky sense of humor, likes to play video games, he has a skateboard, but doesn't really ride it a lot. He is a big help to me, with the kids and everything. Tyler, is a different little guy, he will be 11 on the last day of July. He has a big heart. He uses big words when he talks to you and sometimes repeats himself. With me for some reason, he gets upset with when I say things to him. He also, is a home body. He doesnt want to go a whole bunch. And he loves animals. Logan turned 8 on November 3rd. He loves, I mean absolutely loves frogs. As a matter of fact, he has a chubby frog as a pet. He hangs around with his little brother Brandon, but at times, he also is mean (like brothers tend to be) to him. He is really quiet in school, but does have a few good friends. As a matter of fact, during first grade, due to his quietness, lack of eye contact and a few mispronounciation of speech, they requested I take him to a neurologist.Which, after a 1 1/2 hour visit, said he has asbergers syndome, autism, but it is a high functioning autism. He has ot and speech at school. I still wonder about it, just because of the quickness, and how he was diagnosed. He is getting extra help he needs though. I am not really sure, he didnt really talk much until after two. Maybe he does....I still wonder. Anyway,Brandon is five and will be six on July 1st. He is a sweet little boy. He idolizes his brother Logan and wants to do whatever he does. I do need to keep on him about whining and crying. He, is over sensitive or something. Maybe it is part of being a cancer (zodiac).
Also, he, growing up, would spend pretty much everyday with my Mom, and he, like his Dad, loves to eat, so he is a little over weight for his height. He weighs more than Logan, like 1-2 lbs and is shorter. Aubrey is my princess, even though she is a tomboy (can you blame her, with all those boys surrounding her), she is also a Daddy's girl. She loves to play with other kids. She, has been a preschool about 6-7 weeks and talks with the kids, but is still quiet with the teachers. She loves outside, coloring, playdoh, Blue's clues, Dora and sprout. She gets a lot of compliments on her long, curly red hair. She was 3 on December 30th. Oh, and trying for that other girl, is why we ended up having six! Not seven though...Connor is my post TR baby and is 8 months old. He is a very happy baby, except when he is wanting me to bf him to sleep or over tired. He loves being with his family. Right now, he loves playing peek a boo, itsy bitsy spider and patty cake. He is my sweetheart! He broke the tie with the hair coloring. My three oldest are brunette. The next three are red heads, so we were all wondering about baby, who is, as you can see, a red head!

Re: Gtky~tell Us About Your Kids...
Well I don't have any "natural' children of my own but I do have stepkids so I guess I can include them.
Eric is 27, I only met him last July as he and his dad were estranged for a long while, so I don't know him very well. He is quiet most of the time, likes to play guitar, strangly even tho they didn't see each other for years, Eric and his dad are very alike. My Step daughter in law is a nutjob. She is 22, self centered, nuerotic and EVERYTHING is about her. My step grandson Kyle, is a trip, he just turned a year last month. He is walking, talks up a nonsense storm, no real words and has this super grin that is hilarious. He also LOVEs to eat, anytime he sees someone with food he makes sure he gets right over there and has his mouth wide open.
Sarah is my stepdaughter, she will be 17 in July and I have been in her dads life since she was 7. I love her to death. She is reserved around people she doesn't like, not a phone type and not really boy crazy. She has a "boyfriend" but they pretty much watch tv and talk online. Hasn't gotten her permit yet (pretty much cuz she is Lazy). Her sum of rebeliousness is currently a goth type look, loves the internet, myspace, and anime. She has had some problems with grades and such and was diagnosed ADHD with mild depression. She is on some meds now and has actually passed all of her classes this year. I think part of the reason she likes being with her dad and I so much is becaue she is always trying to shock us with clothes or hair etc. but it doesn't work, as long as she is doing fairly well in school and not on drugs, I could care less what color her hair is, kwim?
My other two kids bark, like long naps and prefer pupperoni over biscuits
