anymore testing DJ? Hi Terrie

Hi Carrie

oh leslie i recieved your christmas card thanks :hugs
Bleh Christmas parties...Have fun Janet...I used to enjoy my husbands but at this time im not to thrilled with the company he works for...perhaps im hormonal....lmao have i said that a couple of times already? anyways...so i dunno if i told you guys but my older sis found out she was expecting (at my house lol with one of the many HPT's i had left) anyways she is now 14 weeks, early on her dr sent her for "glucose testing" he never gave her an indication as to why....then she had to have a lab done that required her to get a finger stick and drop blood into 4-5 circles on a piece of paper? ok so this one came back abnormal, she is naturally worried. she is 35 years old. expecting #2 which was a normal pregnancy...I searched the net for what kind of test this is. She told me that the nurse called it a spot test.....i have never heard of it. So she recieves a call from the nurse telling her that a test came back abnormal and my sister stated well i know it wasnt the US because the perinatologist (sp) said everything was within normal limits...nurse says ya i think its the blood test....and now wants her to see a geneologist? ok here is the kicker! without insurance this test ran 700 bucks! since she had insurance the cost was brought down to 400 and she had to pay 10% so 40 bucks. does any of that make sense? i mean sure take it up with the insurance co, but what the heck was the test they performed? she did have a sub something tear in the uterus...but no more spotting, so thats good...im just trying to help her out. what makes it worse..her husband got laid off, so they lost the insurance and she can no longer see this dr! not that i trusted his judgment in the first place...apparently her hip/pelvic with pg #1 wouldnt have allowed V delivery so resulted in a C-section! ok he knew about it cuz of a MRI he had her get because of the sciatic nerve bothering her early in her pg....he wasnt on call for her labor and she labored for a day in the hospital until they figured baby couldnt pass through? ugg anyways...do any of you guys know of this "spot test"?
Sorry its so long
