Last Post from Dianne: Jenny, no it is not Summer to us, it is Winter.............. Summer will begin on Dec 1st and finish on Feb 28, then Autumn begins on March 1st and ends on may 31th, Winter begins June 1st, ends August 30th, then Spring begins on September 1st and ends on November 30th.

Yes, today is my b'day, although it is almost over as it is 10.45pm here . I think that we r about 16 hours or so ahead of the USA , so that means that everything happens Down Under 'First'..........

Shilo, I think u have everything u will need for little Dante . Dont u have Air Conditioning in ur new house?? I would die without Air Con .

Well, I have had a good day today, I received a few nice cards off family, some money off my parents and a gorgeous bunch of flowers, with a beautiful teddy (which says 'I love you'), from Richard, he has been really sweet.
I suppose as u get older, u dont get many presents anymore, but I loved all the cards I received .

I dont know if I have mentioned this or not, but we received some good news about my mum's cancer, it seems that the Chemo has put her into remission, they can not find any tumours in her blood (thanks to the Chemo) and she is completing her last round of Chemo tomorrow . My mum was so happy when she heard the news and I can tell u, that I was extremely greatful to hear that mum is going to be ok, it was just such a wonderful thing to hear.

Dianne! I am so glad things with your mom are looking good! And that is sweet that Richard got you flowers and a teddy bear. Yes, the birthdays tame down a lot from year to year it seems. My actual bday was kinda lame, but the day after was better. Took a beautiful long drive through the mountains, and Pablo was sweet and attentive and made up for hurting my feelings (by not telling me how pretty I am, LOL)
My friend just found out her dad has esophageal cancer. the big "C" word is so scary.

Carrie How is the new job going? Hope you are lovign the bankers hours.

Well Monday I went to the hospital & had the 3 hr GTT. They seemed to want to make a pincushion out of me. Both of my arms have huge bruises on them. But the good news is...............I passed!!!!! Yay!!!! Thanks for the low sugar vibes everyone.

Other than that, not a lot to report. Trey is very active. I am extremely hot. We will be out of town from Thursday - Sunday. The kids have a state shooting competion. I will take the laptop & try to check in.

Shilo_ love the pics, sorry about your friend, and are you nutty? ya bought a house with out airconditioning? Yikes! We don't use our that much, but I would be miserable with out it on those super hot days..........

Janet, have a nice weekend and try not to over exert, I hope the boys do well!

Yes, I do like my new job, everyone is pretty nice so far, very casual dress, we are talking shorts, jeans, what ever. I manage to wake up and stay that way all day (work from 7:30 to 5) but once I get home I am totally brain dead and tired...I am sure that I will get used to it, just will take me a bit...I have been reading all the posts but just been too tired to post back!

I explained that about the no big deal for the birthday when you get older. It's just another day.
Glad to hear about your Mom.
They just finally, found where the cancer was coming from in my brother, his throut, but he hasnt found out what the plans are yet. Always something to worry about. Did I mention before, my neice last month came running to my door telling me to come to my Dad? Scared the heck out of me. I ended up going to the ER with him. He had a mini stroke. He is so stressed lately, plus he is older and looks so fragile now. My Mom not being around, he just seems even worse. Their anniversary just passed, so he was pretty sad. My sister lives with him to help him out, but at first it was good, but now, she is having issues in her life and I think it is really worse for him. I don't want him to be alone, but I wish she would move on really. I know he wants her too. She is just more of a burden to him. He has been telling her places for rent, but she won't go.
