Birth story, finally. Sorry ladies, it took so long...(m)
As you recall on Thurs. 10/04 I began having irregular contractions. By the time I went to bed they were still the same and I was hoping to wake up to strong, regular ones and go have a baby. Well, about 3AM the cx’s stopped and so did Bella's movements. I got up and ate some candy and had some juice and she still wasn’t moving. So after that I poked around on her and finally got her to move but it wasn’t like her normal movements. Around 7AM I woke up dh and told him I was going to L&D something is not right. I called my MW and she met me there and I was hooked up to the monitor in no time. Well, there was a good h/b but she was still not moving. After the nurses buzzed her she began some moving and my cx’s started again but during the 5 hours that I was there waiting to see if they were going to send me home or induce. Because Bella’s movements and the cx’s were irregular and I was scheduled to be induced on Sunday, the OB and MW decided to began the induction. I'd never been so excited to be in more pain, KWIM?
Soon after the induction began dh arrived and it was pretty much a textbook deliverer after that. I got my epi at 5cm because this was my third baby and I good thing I did, I was complete 40 min. later and didn't feel anything like with the boys. It was such a smooth L&D that dh got to deliever Bella from start to finish, it was cool. She was born on Friday, 10/05/07 at 10.02PM and was 7.5oz and 18" long.
Thanks for reading my story.
DeAnne

Awesome!
Im so glad everything worked out well.
Did they speculate at all as to why her movements were abnormal? Maybe just the position she was in?

Where did I come from?" the baby asked its mother. She answered, half-crying, half-laughing, and clasping the baby to her breast: "You were hidden in my heart as its desire, my darling. You were in the dolls of all my childhood games. In all my hopes and my loves, in my life, in the life of my mother, and in her mother before her, you have lived."

thanks ladies.
Shilo, she just wasn't moving like she normally would. Even when they put the "buzzer" on here she should have jump, kicked, etc. But she didn't. She also had "poop" in there too. So I guess you could say that the 13hrs. of irreg. cx's scared the poop outta her.
thanks again ladies.
