Ladies, I was hoping to ask for your prayers or blessings for Kyle.
His mother called me a bit ago (I think I may have mentioned before that she has some serious issues and there are days when I can't believe she is a mother) Well tonight she was cooking dinner and somehow the pan fell off the stove, hot oil all over the baby. He was flown to a burn unit, his father is with him and his other grandma.
From what my DIL told me on the phone, 50% of his body is covered with 2nd degree burns, he is in a burn suit right now, but they are going to work on his head first, I guess soaking and removing the skin?
He is such a sweet baby and it just kills me that he is going through this.

thanks Di~ I can't stand when babies and children are hurting, they just don't understand and you can't fix it for them....

last phone call, they had started removing some of the blisters and burnt skin, he was on morphine

What an AWFUL thing!!!
I sure hope that mum's negligence didnt cause that. I know that all sorts of accidents can happen to children, but they count on us to keep them SAFE!

I am so sorry to hear that. I actually have goose bumps! How awful. I can't imagine anything worse than burns.
How old is Kyle? My thoughts and prayers are with him, you and your family.
