Back from Egg Retrieval
howdy everyone!
Well I got home from Egg retrieval at about 11:30 this morning. They had me under quite a bit (about an hour an a half) because there were so freakin many follicles that had to be aspirated. My nurse couldn't remember how many exactly BUT I did get 23 EGGS! Holy CRAP! Dr said the average is 10-15.
When I woke up I had alot of cramping, I convinced them to let me come home and passed out on the couch! I am feeling better now but still having some back spasms.
Mary (my nurse) will call me in the a.m. tomorrow and let me know how many of the eggs fertilised! So can't wait to hear how many babies are growing!
I am back to work tomorrow and weds then off Thursday is my transfer!

Carrie, that's amazing!!! I'm so happy and excited for you! I have a feeling this is going to be a great Christmas for you! Ya know, any baby(ies!) they will transfer back to you will have the same due date as Alyssa, 'cause one year ago would have been when she was conceived too. August is a very nice time to have a baby!
Can't wait to hear your updates!!!
