After 3 weeks of appointments, worry, and a ton of ?s.....
My appointment went well. The doctor said my DHs SA test was wonderful, and he said my progesterone was good. The xray showed one clip(right side) came off and is floating on the left side. The ultrasound was good to.
After all that was said and done, he said if I want the surgery, then we will book it. Im waiting for the papers to come in the mail with the definate date, but Im scheduled for the week of June 16, 2008 for sure.!!!!
Yay, Im so excited. Cant wait to TTC.

I'm not real familiar with the clips, but if the clip is off on the right side does that mean the right side is open or is there scar tissue blocking the tube? I only ask because after my TR reversal, I only have one tube open and have not had troubles getting pregnant with just one tube. Just curious more than anything but WTG on a great appointment!

Andi, yes, there is still most likely scar tissue, the amount would depend on how soon after being clamped that it fell off.

yes scar tissue is there, hense why i havent gotten prego in 5 years since TL...LOL
If you dont mind me asking, how soon after did you become pregnant after your TR??

Im very excited...awaiting paper work with the definate cost, date in that week, location and then wait wait wait till that day
Im so ready for this that I told the dr do it today, i will pay double..lol but he laughed and said no no, paper work first, then surgery

It makes sense that there would be scar tissue if it had been on for a while. I'm just naturally curious. Hope all the details start to come in soon!
To answer your question, I have not yet had a TR baby, but I have been able to get pregnant 5 times since the surgery in Oct. 06. The first pregnancy was 3 months after. Unfortunately I've been diagnosed with some weird bleeding and clotting issues that seem to be keeping me from having a successful pregnancy. Right now I'm on a doctor imposed TTC break. I was really upset about it at first but after all my body has been through, I'm starting to think it's not such a horrible thing.

Hope u dont mind me answering ur ?? about 'how soon u got pg after TR'..........I was one of the lucky ones, I conceived my first TR baby 2 - 3 wks after my surgery .
I had my TR surgery on Aug 25, 2003 and delivered Tarsha Raine (note her initials ) on June 9, 2004.

Thats wonderful news, between you, Shilo, and a friend of mines mom who had her TR 21 years ago...gives me HIGH hopes that I could conceive fairly quickly. I had no problems conceiving in the past with my ex-DH....I got pregnant 4 times since 1999, lost one September 1999 at 15 weeks gestation. They say it was a little girl, my placenta had problems apparently, but I got healthy boys afterwards, 4 in total...I was told I could look at a baby and get instantly prego...LOL Im hoping by looking at your newest ones and my friends whos due next month that once I get my reversal that I will get prego fairly fast...LOL My new DH and I wanted a baby in our arms yesturday. Plan to add 2 more to the bunch we have

It's amazing how quickly everything happens... doesnt seem like it at the time, but looking back, its pretty amazing!
