Doubling Time: 71.43 hours
Daily Rate: 1.26
I know that they have doubled within the time limit and I know that they slow down the higher they get, but I was expecting them to be around the 15000/16000 mark .
give me some reassurance that they r heading in the right direction.

Re: 5th HCG #'s r in.........
That's still a really good doubling time, sweetie. "Your hCG level will double every 48 - 72 hours. As you get further along in pregnancy and the hCG level gets higher, the time it takes to double can increase to about every 96 hours." Relax and try not to worry. When are you getting your first u/s? You'll feel better then, when you see that everything is okay.
Just hang in there, hun. I'm sure everything is fine.

Dianne I know that it is hard for you not to stress, but try not to. Those numbers look good to me. I know they can slow down the higher they get.

Re: 5th HCG #'s r in.........
Dianne, the same thing happened to me.... I read this at conceiving concepts, and other sites. (as soon as i find the other sites i will send the info)
Accordingly, the key to interpreting the true value of HCG measurements is to look at their progression. In general, the HCG level will double every two to three days in early pregnancy. Approximately 85 percent of normal pregnancies will have the HCG level double every 72 hours. However, as you get further along in your pregnancy and the HCG levels get higher, the expected doubling time increases. ============================ * For HCG levels <1200 mIU/ml, the expected doubling time is 48-72 hours. * For HCG levels 1200 to 6000 mIU/ml, the expected doubling time is 72-96 hours. * For HCG levels >6000 mIU/ml, the expected doubling time is >96 hours.
I was the BIGGEST worrier my dear, and i think your #s are great, The are still doubling within 72 hours, and at this stage, 96 hours is the norm

Re: 5th HCG #'s r in.........
Thank u, thank u, thank u ladies . I think I am just worried about everything at this stage and I know once I have my first u/s I will hopefully feel alot more reassured .
Missy, I am scheduling my u/s for next Friday Aug 17 and I cant wait. Thanks for that link too, I so appreciate it hon .
Kim,
Jenni, thanks for posting that HCG chart , it is good to see my levels r in the right range.
Deanne & Janet,
Shilo, that info is great, I knew the doubling time slowed, but I was not sure on when they started to slow, so thanks for sharing that info, it has been really helpful .
