LOL my boobs that is....I was due for my shot this week, but didn't get it. After these past three months of not feeling in control of anything due to depo....it was so nice to say NO to it. I talked about the use of the pill to help regulate my periods (even filled the prescription), but I think I'm going to use NFP to get ready for my next baby. I figure getting off hormonal methods will help more than pumping more chemicals into my body. you know?!? So, I'm going to start charting and see what happens.

Next....let's get to my boobs hurting so bad. OUCH!! they really are burning and tender. I even took a HPT to see if I happened to be pg. But no such luck. I figure it's just my body adjusting to the depo working itself out. speaking of symptoms of depo working itself out of your system..... What are some of the symptoms to be watching for? I'm not even sure if there really are any. What were some of your experiences?

Wow....we should be post-depo buddies! lol Mine was due yesterday. How long were you on the shot? Wonder if it matters how long you were on it?!?

Yes sore boobies are a side effect. It is because of the hormones. With your body feeling like it is in menopause the hormones returning and or fluctuating causes your breast to feel tender and sore, kind of like during puberty.

Many women will experience pregnancy type symptoms when coming off depo. Tired all the time, nauseous, heightend smell, weakness in joints and achiness, numberous headaches, breast tenderness as well. Sore breast are a big one and one many mistake for a pregnancy symptom and then they get their hopes up

My last chart was an annovulatory cycle, and I am waiting to see if I am gonna O this month or not.
