My name is michelle, im a sahm of 2 wounderfull kids james 2yrs and Maddison nearly 6 mnths

My question(s) is I had my first depo shot and last march 05 i was due to go back last week but decided not too as too many things and information i have researched i have found i did'nt like and was not told about before depo shot ...well as i was saying i was due on the 4th but on the 5th i got heavy cramps and lots of brown discahrge later mixes with blood ( sorry tmi) and nothing has gone away still bad cramps and blood & Discharge

Has anyone else gotten this i was'nt going to go to the doc's till i got first AF....( i was hoping #3 would show first)

Any help would be gratefully helpfull

Well for me I ended up spotting/bleeding for 3 months straight after only 2 shots. It really depends on the person an dhow her body will react to the shot. even after your one shot, it could be 3months to 3 years before you are back to normal. Depo-provera is some scary stuff. I hope that's not true in your case though. Majority of women will get back to normal within a year's time.

If your cycles don't return within 3 months then I suggest charting to see where your body is at in detoxing. I see you have a new little one BID congrats!!

Hello and welcome. My 1st and last depo shot was oct 04 and i bleed till jan 05 straight and spotted off and on feb 05 then since then i have gotten af every month may was on the 5 and af just showed up today. hope your system gets straightened out if not you may want 2 talk your dr about going on the pill 2 regulate your cycles. good luck!
