I urge those who have or are having problems to give them a call and let them know of your problems and side effects.

They'll probably try to explain things away and or tell you that it wasn't the depo but let them know anyways!

Nice of the makers to set up a hotline after how many women have had how many problems. They should be apoligizing for the effects that were never explained to people.

You are absolutely right, Melissa! I think we should also contact all of our doctors in regard to our problems. We you told of all of the adverse reactions before hand? I wasn't! The most I was told was that it may not wear off right at 3 months, but don't think I'm safe from pregnancy just after it's due...so make sure and come in to get it. HAHAHA ok...I understand that some women can get preggo right away, but let's look at the majority of ladies here. ok??? anyway...looking back he did ask me an interesting question "How long before you want to get pregnant again?" I relpy in my grieving state "not anytime soon" He asks "how soon is soon for you? three months? three years?" again in my grieving state I mumble "most likely 3 years would be the closest bet" He then suggested depo....but never metioned that it could take a while to get back to a normal cycle...nothing of the sort. He only said what I wrote above.

Depo was "invented" for those that never really wised to get pregnant again. It was supposed to be the "cheap" version of a tubal ligation or a vasectomy. But we of course aren't really told that. Just like tubals or V's many will tell you not to make the decision after you've given birth or while you are pregnant, because they know you will change your mind as time goes on.

In some aspects Depo can wear off but the time it takes and the heartbreak it can cause is a lot more than some can handle. yk?!

No I Wasn't Warned About The Effects! They Told Me Since I Was Breasfeeding That It Was The Only Safe Option Out There Thet Would Not Go To My Baby And That I Wouldn't Get Prego While On It! How Rude! I Wish I Knew Then What I Know Now And I Would Have Said A Few Choice Words To My Dr. They Should Troughly Explain Everything To You! It Makes Me Furious All The Pain And Heartache Everyone Has To Go Through Because Of This Drug! Icould Just Scream When I Think About It. Ok, I Gonna Get Down Off My Saopbox Now. Sorry I Just Had To Vent 4 A Moment!
