I called my doctor yesterday and they want me to come in to be tested. My last shot was January 24, 2005, and still no period. they said that they are gonna give me pills to bring it down. Has this happened to anyone?
It a normal thing. They will be perscribing a HRT drug (hormone replacement therapy). It's the same type of drug they give women going through menopause. It's to replace the hormones that depo took away from you/shut off. Sometimes this helps to get your body to start remaking those hormones so you can have a period and eventually get pregnant.
It will be something like Provera or premarin (sp). BCP (Birth control pills) can also do the same thing sometimes.
