has anyone taken just one shot? has anyone gotten their cycle back fast?

I had just 2 shots, and it took me 5-6 months to get my periods back and then 9mo to become pregnant.

Depo can do some strange and crazy things to you so don't be surprised if it takes a short time or an extra long time. No one is the same after the depo shot. No matter how many they had.

I'm hoping that I get mine back soon. I've had one shot in jan. I've been having spotting and bleeding the past couple of weeks.....hoping that it's part of it working out of my sysytem. I'm also getting very emotional and crabby....which my friend said she had as she was approaching her next shot. For her, when she didn't get her shot (after only having one), she had similar symptoms. It took 3 mo to get her "regular" cycle back and 4 mo to get preggo. So as soon as her cycle got under control she got preggo right away. Hope I'm as lucky!

its funny cause i think my shot is due on monday but i see my self spottin. i also have little blood clots. i hope its not a period. now im confused i wanted to get pregnat right now. but it seems like everything is going wrong for me right now? does anyone have any advice?

You will more than likely NOT Get pregnant now. I am sorry to say it will probably take a good couple months before you do.

I bled for 2 weeks before my next shot and when I didn't go back for my 3rd shot I ended up bleeding for 3 months straight. It is just depo working it's way out of your system. That's the bad news!

The GOOD NEWS!!! Spotting and bleeding usually indicate that you have sufficient hormones to bring your cycles back within the year and that you will pobably be able to carry a baby to term once you do. Those that have a hard time getting their cycles back find it extremely difficult to get their fertility back!
