I took my last shot on August 8th 2005 (so it lasted until around the 7th of November). I was on it for around 3 years. I understand that many things vary from woman to woman but I was wondering if any one is having/had a similar experience to what I'm having. My husband and I have been TTC (not in any sort of a rush but very happy if it happens) but we know full well that after Depo things are...strange.

So I didn't get my shot in November. Late that month I got about 10 days of spotting (some days hardly anything at all except on the TP). Then nothing until the 16th of January (spotting more than Nov). For the past two days I am having what can definitely be described as menses (not just spotting). So its 23 weeks since my last shot, 10 since it should have worn off.

From other people's accounts I was figuring I wouldn't have any sort of bleeding for a long time. Now I'm confused to whether or not this is an actual cycle or just break-through bleeding (i've heard this mentioned before).

I'm going to start taking my temperature in the mornings (apparently that can help clarify some things). But is there anyone who can give advice/experience to this situation? I am very eager to hear other people's ideas.

I can't say I am "experienced" per say. I am learning a lot from these other ladies, but here is my experience. My last shot was due in July 05. I didn't get it. I had AF in August, none in Sept and Oct., but have had a normal AF since November. Still no BFP, but am going to the GYN to discuss options.

It is hard to wait, but I believe that once my body is ready and has gotten rid of this drug, it will be my time.

Good luck and enjoy this board, these ladies are great.
