I dunno! It has been pretty slow around here. How are you doing by the way? Are you finding out the sex?

I'm doing ok. I hope to find out the sex Thursday. We are going for an ultrasound with a genetic counslor because I tested with high probilility of Down's Syndrome. If I don't get to find out, I have a regular u/s scheduled for the following week.
How are you doing? I was going to post it on here....I found a local group adn went to a pug gather with both my girls last week. THey had a blast and it was fun to see (and hear) all the pugs.

I've been checking in every couple of days but nothing has been going on. Things are going pretty good for me. Still no definite movement from my little bean. Renee: How long did it take for you to feel movement. I keep reading that if you're overweight it may take longer, but how long?

We had a bit of a scare on Saturday night. DH and I were coming home from celebrating my Grandpa's b-day and we were driving down a dark country road and ended up hitting a deer. It actually hit us more than we hit it so there was nothing we could do. We're waiting to hear back from the insurance company to see how much the damage will cost. Thank goodness the deductible is only $50. I grew up and still am such a city girl and I don't tolerate those kind of things very well. Especially since it happened on the passenger side where I was. DH, me and bean are all ok but the poor deer had to be put down after the police arrived. But the important thing is that we were ok.

Glad to hear that everyone else is doing well. Talk to you later.

Aimee

Aimee: How terifying about the Deer! There are a lot of forest preserves around me, so it happens here on a regular basis however I have been lucky do far. A friend of mine hit one on the way to Wisconsin to ski a few years back. He called the police from his cell phine because he hit a buck and it came through the windshield an dlanded on his lap. One of the antlers pinned him to the seat and punctured his skin, but no internal damage. He also had 2 broken legs from the weight of the deer on his lap. His damage was over $10,000! I'm glad it wasn't this severe for you!
As for movement.....With Gavin, I didn't feel movement until abot 23-24 weeks and it was not regular. Some of the strenght of movment felt depends on the placenta placement also. I had an Anterior placenta with Gaivn which meant that the placent was between teh baby and my outer belly and therefore soften any movement.
This time, I was feeling reaction movement for a littl ebit a couple weeks ago (I would feel the baby pushing in one spot, I would touch/tickle and he/she would pull back and come back to the 'surface'.) That has stopped and I haven't been feelign anything lately.
