I am just wondering what dose of Gonal F that plus size gals are on.
I'm dress size 20 and on 150 IU each eveing.

Anyone else want to give similar info?

I don't think there are any people here doing fertility treatments at the moment. I was lucky enough to only need 100 mg clomid with an HCG trigger to concieve my ds and got pregnant the second time with nothing. I am a size 22.
I think there may be a Gonal F support board if yo are looking for people to talk to about that. You are of course welcome in any discussion here too. (I didn't mean that to sound like you can't post here.)

Gonal F is a hormone which helps follicles (more than the one you have naturally each month) grow and develop. This injectible hormone is pretty much the way that Reproductive Endochrinologists (RE) have established is a good way to increase your chances of success in IUI and IVF.

Going the "injectible" route will cost you between $1400 and $2000 just for the medication if you have to go that route and your insurance does not cover the meds. You also have to have an ultrasound about every other day and bloodwork, too. The cost of an IUI cycle on "injectibles", not counting the meds is about $1500 - check with your doctor on that though.......cause it depends what he or she charges.

I was a size 20 when I got pregnant with my son and I was doing 50 mg of clomid with the HCG trigger. I was super lucky and got pregnant the first time. We are now going through it again and I am unfortunately a size 22/24 this time. I am a little worried but I hope it works. E
