Default what is the best pg test to use?

I am about 4 days late and used a clearblue digatial test sat that said not pg, but I have heard that some test are more sensitive than others. Do ya'll suggest another brand? I figured I would take another by wed if I have not started and if it is neg than call the dr for meds to make me start and then get back on my met so I can get my cycles back to normal. Btw update on my weight loss from my weight loss surgery is almost 7 months out and down 92lbs. I cant start ttc until my 12 month just to be on the safe side. I got on the pill before my surgery but could not remember to take the damn things. lol lol so I stopped about a month ago taking them and we are just being really really careful. So hopefully My cycles are just messed up from stopping the pill. But I would like to get regulated now so that I dont have that to deal with at my 12 month mark in aug.
Thanks
Denise

Hi Denise,
You can find pregnancy test sensitivities for spefiic brands here: http://www.babyhopes.com/pregnancy-t...nsitivity.html
The clearblue digital is fairly sensitive detecting pregnancy at 25 mIU. You can test with it as early as one day before you miss your period, so if you tested when you were 4 days late, you are likely not pregnant. I would test again in a couple of days and call your doctor. HTH!
Congrats on the weight loss..that's awesome! That could only help in your future TTC endeavors

peeonastick.com is another great website. It has a sensitivity comparison too, but also has all sorts of interesting things about and to to with pg tests.

OH MY GOSH DENISE!!!!! All these long months I've been wondering what ever happened to you

This board seemed to become a ghost town for a while. I'm sure you're feeling positively fantastic with a 92 lb weight loss!!! I hope your MIL is being nicer to you these days

I don't know a lot about what happens when you stop taking the pill but I think that since AF is 4 days late for you, an HPT should be relaible. It could be that your cycle is a bit whacky right now.

I'm super excited for you that you're going to be able to TTC again soon! This is so great to "see" you in here again.

Little update on me----> We got pg in Nov, only to lose it in December. We're still trying.
