Hi thanks for the welcome...

Well I am one of the hosts of Signing to Baby. I am 34 and my DH-to-be is 45. He has 2 sons from his ex. One is 14, the other 16 so instant family. We met online through a Christian Singles site. (Don't tell my mother--LOL) Actually, his kids attended the school where I used to work, so I was able to have him checked out. I am a high school teacher. Love photography, painting and pottery.

Since I am the yearbook adviser at my school, the wedding plans are being ignored until the book is published! LOL....I have my dress (thanks to ebay), addressed the invitations (thanks to 6 months of Grand jury duty---yes I paid attention to the DA), got the flowers ordered, reserved the church and planned the reception, BUT the details!!!! Oh well it will get done...I am a teacher so I have a month off before the wedding. We're going to Florida for the honeymoon. We both love lighthouses, so we are going to hit the coast in search of some!

I've never met anyone famous that I can think of....but Mel Gibson and Denzel Washington pop up in my dreams from time to time.. ;-)

While I have no children, I do have a cat named Blackie, a big dog named Suki and little three-legged dog named George!

I like to use baby signs when I remember. It truly helped when my older kids were younger. I unfortunately have kind of dropped the habit and now am paying for it. my 20mo has learned the fine art of grunt communication and the older siblings are more than obliged to attend to his grunts and points, .

He is starting to add more words daily so hope is not all lost!. I guess I should be working on my 7mo now since I know you can start as young as 6mo. Goll I feel lazy for not having started on my baby signs yet. shame on me!
