Default Stiral and rck110574 (PG mentioned)

Hi girls! How are you doing? I hope that you both had a wonderful holiday season!

I'm doing well. Still no m/s. Just sore and tired for the most part. I'm very excited that I've started to show!

Our kitten (well, she turned 1 in December so I guess maybe she's not a kitten any more) just jumped on the keyboard so I think she's trying to say hello! LOL!

Glad to hear you are doing well. If going by old wives tales, you have less morning sickness with a boy pregnancy.
nothing new here. Just feel like I am huge. I have moved into my stage 2 pregnancy clothes. Since I buy all my stuff used and my size varries because of my height, I have a variety of sizes and styles and I have them divided by stage of pregnancy. Some just accomidate me better!
We have spent tha last 2 weeks cleaning out the basement and spare room in order to move ds and get his current room touched up for the baby. I have started working on my list of things I will need for the new baby and it looks like it will be super expensive already. I am still waiting for offers from family to buy certain items. Every little bit counts. I need to go through the rest of the clothes my sils sent to organize by size. Their kids were all born at different times than mine will be so I am not sure if the styles will work seasonally but I will get by with buying as little as I can.

If that is really true then it'd explain why I didn'y have any with the last 2. however my 3rd was a boy too but I had M/S with him. I think I didn't have m/s with the last two because they were closely spaced. I'll know for sure when I getpregnant with the next one. LOL

I don't believe in old wives tales. For one thing, my mom was every bit as sick with my brother as she was for me (7 months for each of us.) For another, there is an old wives tale that says if you don't have any m/s, you can't have a healthy baby. That's just crazy! I'd have to think that a baby would be healthier when momma has no m/s, because the nutrients from food are staying inside to work their way to the baby!

I'm still leaning towards a girl. We'll probably have a better idea on the 19th when we have another doppler and know the heart rate, then on about Feb. 16 we'll have the big u/s and know for sure!

Hello! I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better Tracy. I remember going through the nauseous time and thinking how in the world am I going to surrive but looking back I really don't remember it all that much.

Renee-Glad to hear from you. Haven't seen you around in awhile but it sounds like you have been busy cleaning and rearranging, plus the holidays.

We're going to be closing on our house at the end of the month and I cannot wait, I'm hoping some nesting instincts kick in soon to help with the packing. I've been feeling more and more movement. Alot of little thumps and every once in awhile a big ol'kick that makes me take notice. I am starting to get a little impatient, I cannot wait to hold my baby.

Hope everyone has a good rest of the week!

Aimee

I forgot to mention that my computer had a meltdown a week before Christmas. Dh went out and bought one Dec 23 and set it up in the basement. The old computer is fixed but not yet re-assembled for upstairs. We also had to buy a new desk for my bedroom in order to fit it in there and that need s to be assembled. by the way, my basement isn't heated, so my time donw here is limited to after dh is home which was 8 pm tonight so I had to deal with bedtime first.
