Icon5 Recommendations On Workout Videos?

Hello ladies,
I was wondering if some of you could recommend a good workout DVD. I have fertility problems and my doctor seems to think everything stems from my being overwieght. I disagree but even if I'm right I know that losing weight will increase my chances and since we've been trying for 16 months I'm willing to give anything a shot. The trouble is I've never had a good workout video before. I need something on DVD, something that will keep me moving but not give me a heart attack, something that isn't super hard to follow and that won't be insanely hard on my joints. I'm rather large chested so I can't jump all around or I risk knocking myself out with my own chest. So can someone recommend a video that will actually inspire me to workout every day without wishing bad things on the overly peppy instructor? Thanks bunches. Good luck and blessings, Prana

I have a hard time working out but my 5 kids seem to give me a good enough workout each day, LOL

One thing that seems to really help in both increasing your fertility and also decreasing weight is to try a low carb diet of some sort. Lowering the carbs and even the sugars will stabalize hormones linked to fertility, thus increasing the chances of becoming pregnant.

I eliminated soda's form my diet and am just drinking water and I really watch my carbs, and so far I am close to hitting a 50 pound loss, since January. I've gone from a size 24/26 to an 18!!

I ended my last pregnancy over 300 pounds the heaviest I've ever been. I didn't ant to torture myself over the holidays and started really losing weight in January. I started January off at 277 and am now currently 231. I am really hoping to get down past 200.

I like using my digital cable features because the OnDemand has a ton of free workouts and i can try as many as I like.

You may want to try some dance video's, yoga, or even pilate's they are all low impact and have some great results. I've heard a lot of good things about belly dancing video's, your sig makes me think you'd like something like that.

Those are my suggestions. HTH!

I'm a home video workout junkie One of my favorite websites to find new videos is http://www.collagevideo.com You can search for videos by difficulty level. Some of my favorites are Kathy Smith's Fat Burning Breakthrough, Peak Fat Burning, and Timesaver Cardio Fatburner. She also has a new series of videos through http://www.beachbody.com called Project You. It's not cheap though, I think I paid $65 for the set. It's a 3 DVD/8 workout set though. I also like Crunch Burn and Firm Pilates and Crunch Boot Camp Training videos. My favorite right now though is Tae Bo Cardio Flex.

I have Cathy Smith's Timesaver Cardio Fatburner It is pretty good, will get your heart rate up for sure and more steps are easy enough (after the first of second try any way) I am not too co-ordinated. I just had a hard time because my living room is not really big enough to do too much and now I have tenants renting my basement suite and I don't think they want to hear me thumping around up stairs, off beat to cheezy music.
My theory was even if I was getting lost with the "real" steps that I would just swing my arms and march in place, just keep moving until I could do the right step again. Stupid Scissor steps. :$
