Great advice, Stephanie and I agree that if you want something bad enough you need to make changes in your life. I had irregular cycles and was nervous that I wouldn't be able to conceive. The Endocrinologist (I was seeing him for Hypothyroidism) mentioned that many overweight women have difficulty conceiving because of Insulin Resistance (SomeWhereOverTheRainbow..Goggle that and research it), and also because we tend to produce more Estrogen than slimmer women and that can throw off your hormonal balance.
After speaking with my Endo, I joined Weight Watchers and lost 53 lbs. With that, and coming off the night shift and working the day shift, I became pregnant with DD. I truly believe that losing that weight helped us to have a baby. I had mentioned in another post that I joined WW again. I'm willing once again to make some changes so that I may ultimately win my prize
SomeWhereOverTheRainbow (name?), you can do it! I have been overweight since about 5th grade, so I know what it's like, but it's never too late to give it a try. I like WW b/c I have flexability with it, but do what works for you. Good luck!
