I'm SOOOO glad to see this board up and running again!

This is the first board that I joined when I was looking for TTC support. I was here often and really loved it. Then I got invited to the TTC 6 months+ board by JennyK37 (I'm sure some of you know her, she's a popular girl on here) and it seemed that this board sort of died for a while. I just popped in here by chance today and WOW....Maureen got a BFP!

I'm so happy to see it alive in here again. I got a bfp on december 1st 2004 only to miscarry about 2 weeks later. I skipped the next cycle (docs orders) and then I missed the last cycle because I was out of town (grrr!) and now this will be our first time TTC after the miscarriage. The cycle that we got pg was the first cycle that I tried using OPKs and it worked for us.....so hopefully we can pull that off again.

I look forward to getting to know the new ladies here and catching up with others. And let's hope this board never becomes deserted again!

Hi Micki and welcome back i'm Shannon Dh and I have been ttc#1 for just over 5 months now and still no luck. Well just wanted to say welcome back and hope your stay is short and sweet.

Hi Micki -
I am new here but I am glad you have returned. I used to post here also when ttc my first child but it really wasn't very active. I saw that you do foster care - we do foster care for adults with disabilities. It is such rewarding work. We have one biological son that was born in July 04. I am sorry to hear of your miscarriage and hope you get a BFP this month. Welcome back! Elizabeth

Micki- It's good to see you again. I'm sorry for your loss and I hope that you get pg again real soon. How is your little one doing? I'm also curious if you're thinking about adopting him. Good luck and take care.

Aimee, I left the boards just after you got your BFP and now look at you you're almost ready to deliver WOW! HOw has the pg been going for you?

Renee, They asked us if we wanted to adopt our foster son but we have said no. Honestly, I truly believe he needs a super mom type who will fight for him, advocate for him and just be one of those moms who is totally on top of everything.....I feel like I'm not good enough to be his forever mom ( I know that may sound weird) I also know myself and I know that I can NOT watch him be sick all of his life. He has lots of medical problems. The perfect mom for him is out there I know it.

Maureen, I wish you the best and I hope you've gotten a chance to join the DIN board.......I lurk over there cause I'm hoping to be due in nov, and there are some super people over there too!
