Well as my ticker says I am charting to try and avoid pregnancy. Well DH and I have also been using "protection" too, . . .well except for the one time .

We had run out of condoms and well we decided to use the pull out and pray method. For some reason I had this feeling that if we ever tried to DTD without protection then I'd ovulate, and lo and behold I did! Now I am freaking out a little hoping nothing survived that long, but then stranger things have happend.

This is my first chart since 2001 when I was TTC after depo, and since then I didn't need to chart. I started charting to get a couple sample charts together, to avoid pregnancy if at all possible, and finally to prepare for TTC in the fall!

The x's on my chart are the days we DTD with protection and the PM is the day we DTD without any and as you can see I O'd just after that! UGH!! So now I am in the 2WW to see if we are safe or blessed a little early. I will be slightly bummed since I really wanted to ride roller coaster this year since I've missed out the last 3 due to pregnancy! I also really wanted that 2006 baby and if I do end up being pregnant then I will be due at the end of December, and I usually go early!

This chart has been weird with me O'ing so late in the game here. You know at about day 26 and you still haven't O'd you just kind of assume that you aren't going to for that month. I guess next time I won't make an a$$ of myself I'll just assume I am fertile all the time!

I warned DH of the possibility so he has some time to adjust to it, JIC it is a . We have been talking about having DH get the big V done and we joke about how we'd probably still be the ones to get pregnant even after the proceedure, and we even know the stats and rates and how long it takes after the surgery before it is considered "safe" etc etc, but we could still see us getting pregnant!

Back in 2001 my LP's were regularly 12 days long so I am hoping that stays the same and that I will know things for sure by next Tuesday, the 19th!

So if you are the praying type maybe you can help us . We'd like this POAP method to really work!

Well Steph. i'll keep my fingers crossed for you and maybe you can go ride them rides and have fun. I'm now also in my 2ww and it's 3 weeks untill DH and I go to Disney so i'm hoping and praying that we got PG this month but on the other hand I also want to ride all the rides and have fun with DH and his friends. But like DH says God knows what he is doing and when the time is right then it is right and we will have out little one. But I would love to have a 2005 baby and I know that Friday was my last chance to get one so we will see.
