I'll spare you other details. But I plan on encouraging my children to elope!

If you had an endless supply of money what would you do? I'd be taking care of the 12 children I want, LOL, a House, a 15 passenger van, clothes, food, bills!!!

What are some of your family issues? My parents separated when I was 8, my Dad moved back to Australia when I was 15. Bad budgeting skills. Neither one of us love our job. When did you marry and how was your wedding day? June 27th, 1998. The reception was here: http://www.westburymanor.com/ The food was exquisite, the music (band) was wonderful, and the room and grounds were beautiful. The planning and parental involvment leading up to the wedding was stressful, but the day turned out beautifully

If you had an endless supply of money what would you do? I would pay off the mortgage on our home, and expand or re-build it (I love our neightborhood). I would also pay off all of our bills, our cars and put enough money away to completely pay for college for my child(ren), plus put away some for an inheritance. THEN, I would go on a nice vacation, quit my job (but get a volunteer job) and work for a cause (need to have meaning in my life).

What are your hobbies/talents? Scrapbooking (however, I have only made 6 pages..never have the time!), browsing the net, crocheting (novice), reading.

What is something most people don't know about you? I have Fibromyalgia and that it profoundly affects my life.

What are some of your family issues? DH worked his way up to a great position in the technology field (making 6 figures), but then the company was bought out and it took more than 2 years for him to find another job (b/c the dotcoms went bust and tech jobs were hard to come by). I was working in the mean time, and he was a SAHD. We incurred lots of debt during the 2 yrs he was out of work. He got depressed, but he got help for that. He got a job teaching middle school children with learning disabilities, we refinanced our house and took out a home equity loan, paid off all of our CC debt and are finally starting to save some money. Most of our hardships were financial in nature.

How did you meet your DH/SO? Started out as pen pals when DH was in bootcamp for the Marine Corps. He got hurt and was in the injured platoon, I belonged to a group that send Christmas cards and get well soon cards to the injured recruits. He got one of mine and wrote me back. THe rest is history

When did you marry and how was your wedding day? First ceremony was 3/14/03. DH had just gotten called back up to active duty before the war started, so we had a JOP ceremony before he left. We had our religious ceremony on 4/10/04 and that's what we consider to be our "official" anniversary date. Only our parents and a few close friends know about the JOP wedding.

If you had an endless supply of money what would you do? Buy our dream home with lots of acres and horses, as well as a weekend home on the water, pay off our parents homes, travel, be a SAHM without worrying about $$.

What are your hobbies/talents? I seem to be pretty good at gardening Had a successful first try last year, hoping for the same this year! I also love to read.

How did you meet your DH/SO? High School; sophmore year.

When did you marry and how was your wedding day? March 18, 2001. We had a ren themed wedding. It was beautiful and fun. We are still having family and friends talk about it to us all the time. We had the best cake adn coffe too. We had a chocolate cake with fudge filling and chocolate frosting. We had a special coffee service where 3 people did the serving. Once poured coffee, the next offered chocolate for the coffee (instead of sugar) and the 3rd offered whipped cream instead of cream. I am not a big coffee drinker but this was the yummiest way I have ever had coffee. We also decided not to waste money of favors people would throw out or forget where they came from, so we hired a characture artist to draw our guests adn give them the drawing. It was actually cheaper then most favors and it was the ultimate in personalized!

If you had an endless supply of money what would you do? tear down and build a better house, buy a mini-can with all the extras, put aside money for the kids college, get my masters AND hire a cleanign person to come weekly.

What are your hobbies/talents? I knit, sew, write and bowl

Something most people don't know about you? I tutor adults retunring to college in Math. Most people just don't want to take math and leave it until the last class they need, then they struggle. I get paid a weekely few based on teh service level they want. I can do just 1 tutor session or I can add in unlimited calls and email help for another price and my thrid level is for test prep when I write and grade tests 3 times in the week and work through whatever problems they are having.

What is your strongest attribute? I have a creative mind for learning. I don't learn the traditional way, so I can figure out ways for people to learn based on thier own style.

How did you meet your DH/SO? We both worked at the same group home.

When did you marry and how was your wedding day? We were married on October 12, 1991. I rained a little but didn't pour, which was nice. It was really hot and the church didn't have air conditioning and I sweated like a pig! SO embarassing. Also, the "wedding directors" at the church insisted that we start ON TIME even though there were people who hadn't even been seated yet. Our minister was a putz and would not say "I now present to you Mr. and Mrs. ...." He felt that a stating that way implied that we were losing our individualism. PULEESE. I thought saying "I now present to you Paul and Elizabeth (Our last name)" would work. NOPE. He wouldn't do it. So he just said NOTHING! I didn't pay him because of it. Jerk. Anyway, besides these things it was wonderful. I married the person I loved more than anything and he looked so handsome. I felt like a princess and all my dreams had come true. Not too long after that real life set in but it was fun at the moment.

If you had an endless supply of money what would you do? I would pay off my family's bills, our bills and get a bigger house. We are seriously cramped here with 6 adults and a baby.

What are some of your family issues? DH has bi-polar disorder. He also had a brain tumor 2 years ago that was benign and was removed. My oldest sister is totally jealous of everyone and blames my parents for everything. Her DH is a bit crazy and it has rubbed off on her. My nephew's wife has cancer, which we thought was going to be terminal but she is responding really well to chemo so maybe there's hope? I am very close to my middle sister but she lives in Las Vegas so I don't get to see her very often. I miss her everyday. I am very close to my parents but they live in Florida half of the year and then go to Virginia frequently. As for the in-laws - My MIL is pretty cool but can be impatient. My FIL is a self-centered and I have issues with him. He made my DH feel like he was worthless and he still has problems with it. It is hard to like someone that doesn't think very highly of your spouse, his own son for heaven's sake. My DH is so sweet and kind and forgiving -it just goes to show you that my FIL never bothered to get to know DH - he was too busy thinking about himself. I try not to let it bother me but it is always there. My DH wants to have this good relationship (still) with his dad and it is never going to happen and I feel sorry for my DH.

How did you meet your DH/SO? We both used to work at the same place, and I met him shortly after he started there.

When did you marry and how was your wedding day? We were married on May 19th, 2001. We had a huge wedding. There were 23 people in the bridal party if you include Michael and I, and there were over four hundred guests invited. (Both sides of my family are huge.) It was an outdoor wedding at a golf/spa resort we had always dreamed of getting married at but thought we could never afford. (Turned out being the most affordable of all the places we looked at.) The whole day was perfect. And at the end, I couldn't have been happier to be married to the best friend I've ever had. Felt like I had to keep pinching myself all day to see if it was actually happening.

If you had an endless supply of money what would you do? I'd be having and adopting as many children as we wanted to. We'd have a huge house to accomodate our family. We'd travel, and take the time to stop and really appreciate and experience all the things in life we don't have the time or money for now.

Do you collect anything? Pig stuff, and scrapbooking supplies. Have way too much of both.

What are some of your family issues? Don't really have any. My family isn't perfect, but no major issues.

Are you a stay at home mom? If not, what is your job? No, I currently work full time as an admissions clerk at our local hospital, someday if i have a baby i may stay at home, I'd really like too.

What did you want to be when you grew up? A doctor, then a midwife...i went to nursing school for a while, but didn't finish...i am really happy with what i do now..

What is your birthday? Feb. 18, 1977

Do you have children? What names and ages? No human children. I have a 2 1/2 year old German Shepard, Michelob. I also have three cats, LuLu, Chester and Chloe.

Which would you prefer, boy or girl? Why? Before my m/c I always wanted a boy...then after I m/c'd I started thinking/dreaming about a girl. I don't honestly care either way, as long as my baby is healthy.

How many children would you like to have? I always wanted 2 or 3, but now i would be thrilled with just one.

How did you meet your DH/SO? We both worked for the same company, he was a delivery driver and I was a clerk, I used to flirt with him like crazy, he was so shy and nervous about girls...LOL he finally figured it out...

When did you marry and how was your wedding day? August 17, 2002 (yes do the math we started TTC before our wedding LOL) The wedding was simple and fun but honestly i recommend eloping, it would be way more fun and probably a lot less expensive...our friends had a blast, however most of my family came, ate and left, geez thanks....

If you had an endless supply of money what would you do? Buy a huge estate in the country, have all kinds of pets and children (whether biological or adopted), donate lots of money to worthy organizations, spend my days doing the things i love!

What are your hobbies/talents? I'm very crafty. I love to scrapbook. I also sew, crochet, knit, floral arranging and home decorating.

What is something most people don't know about you? I am very sensitive, I have taught myself to hold my emotions in and not let people see the real me, most people think I am so happy and bubbly all the time but the truth is inside i do hurt a lot.

What is your strongest attribute? hmmm that's a hard one...I guess my caring attitude and ability to listen to people, guess that's two...

Your weakest? I have a hard time with patience, though i am getting a lot better.

Do you have a website/online journal? No not really...i want to make a blog but i just don't have the time.

If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would it be? Right now we are dreaming of taking an alaskan cruise.

What are some of your family issues? My sister is a HUGE loser...in fact most of the time i don't admit to knowing her, I don't want to go into all the details right now but we'll leave it at that. Also my MIL is single (always was) and totally irresponsible with her money, she pretty much expects my husband (her only child) will just bail her out all the time, it's EXTREMELY frustrating to use both, my husband says he sometimes feels like the parent.
