False Positives?
I am pretty confused. Friday morning I took a digital home pregnancy test and it came back positive. My husband and I were not TTC but we were not not TTC since January either, so it was a bit of a surprise but by then end of the day we were both really excited (I have made a Dr. appt for Monday) but just being neurotic we decided to go to the drug store and buy more tests for another reassurance, but we just bought a one line/two line early response pregnancy test and did it this morning and it showed negative, no phantom line, no nothing. So now I have spent most of the day trying to find information on false positives.
IF the first one was correct then I would be 3 1/2 weeks pregnant (8 days after conception), which I know is early to get any result. This is all more difficult because I have very irregular periods and would have gotten pregnant during my period. Can anyone help with information? I am hoping the first one is right. Are digital tests more accurate or just easier to read?
Thanks in advance
Lisa
