I have a question for our Clomid users. I'm still not cycling on my own and I am going to have an appointment with my obgyn in October so I'm coming up with a list of things to talk about with her. I'm going to show her my charts (although I haven't been charting for a couple of weeks since I moved) that show I'm not ovulating. I wonder if I should ask for Clomid now, even though I won't TTC until 2006? I'm wondering if I can get my body to ovulate with Clomid for a few cycles, if maybe that will restore the cycle of hormones that seems to still be stopped since I came off depo.

Anybody have that experience? Being annovulatory, then ovulating on your own (w/out Clomid) after having taken it?

3/08 100mg clomid cd3-7, no follicles, cycle cancelled
4/08 - 150mg clomid cd3-7, u/s on cd14, 1 follicle @ 24mm, trigger shot on cd14 and timed bd,
5/08 - HSG looks good
6/08 - IUI+INJ #1,
7/08 - IUI+INJ #2,
8/08 - IUI+INJ #3

There is some OTC menopause supplements that would greatly help with the restoration of the hormones that Depo stripped from you. Also take a peek in the TTC sticky there are some more herbal options in there too. I used Dong Quai and Zinc, both helped greatly I think when I was coming off depo.

I also was on depo and the only thing that finally regulated my cycles was metformin which I started to take when I was diagnosed with PCOS! HTH!
