BFN tonight i'm so sad.
 tonight i'm so upset. I wish I had the money to go to the Dr. and find out what is going on with my body and why I can't get PG. DH keeps telling me that when we are ready and when god thinks we are ready we will have a baby. I keep telling him i'm ready and I want a baby now. I told him what what really just me is that people like his f**king sister can have babies without even trying and only reason she had him is because she thought it would be like having a babydoll to play with. But people like me and him who really wants to have a baby can't have them. I know we have only been trying for 4 months but still to me thats 4 months to long. I know he is right that when god is ready for us to have a baby we will but the waite is killing me.

Re: BFN tonight i'm so sad.
I'm sorry abotu your BFN, but to continue the conversation from you previous thread......yes there is something that can be done about irregular cycles! I was also put on BCP to 'regulate' however my body cannot handle htem and I have every side effect possible from there. Anyway, there are some tests that need to be done to determine what is causing your irregularity. Hormone levels for one and also your glucose and insilin levels need to be checked.
Do you have any type of insurance? Can you go to a regualr doctor even? If you are insilin resistant (like I am) that is a pre-diabetic condition that needs to be controlled by medication and as weird as it seems, that can help regulate cycles.
I do agree that God will see fit when you are ready to have a baby however, that may be in the form of putting you together with a fertility specialist like I had to do with ds.

Re: BFN tonight i'm so sad.
I agree with Renee.
It tool me about 7-8 months before I conceived my first and I wasn't even charting and I didn't have a real grasp at how "things" worked. But every month I got my hopes up. Now 6 years later Ihave 5 wonderful children. So your Dh is right too, when the time it right it will happen!

Re: BFN tonight i'm so sad.
 Thank you guys so much it helps talking to other women who are going through the same things I am. No I don't have any insurance but I just started work and i'm suppost to be able to get some soon and so dose DH but neither one of us has gotten our info on it yet and I don't know if it would cover a fertilaty specalist or not. Oh yeah I went to my fertilaty friend chart and put in my temp from this morning and it's now saying that I dind't O untill CD 31 wich was Wed. the 26th. DH and I hadn't BD for 3 days before that but we did BD that night and then we didn't do it again untill last night so I don't know if we BD enough for it to do any good now LOL. See just my luck when I do finaly O for the month I don't know it and I hardly BD. Oh well I guess i'll now waite untill around Valintines day and see if I start and if I don't i'll test then so keep your fingers crossed that it happend the other day.

Re: BFN tonight i'm so sad.
I'd have to say that if FF is changing your O date around that it is very possible tha tyou have an ovulation problem. My old insurance covered any fertility TESTING but not treatments. Luckily, I had a great OB/GYN who wrote my scripts and monitored me in order to have everything covered. Once I have this current baby and get my tubes tied, I will have to see an endocroligest to monitor my insilin problem.

Not really.
FF = fertility friend
AF = aunt flow (aka periord, menstrual cycle)
O = ovulation
TTC= trying to conceive
CD = Cycle Day
BFN = big fat negative
BFP = big fat positive
BCP = birth control pills
BD = baby dancing (aka sex, also known as DTD = do the deed)
CM = Cervical Mucous
CP = Cervical placement
Is there a specific shorthand you'd like a meaning to? I know it can weird trying to figure some of these things out.
You can always do an internet search on internet shorthand and you can usually find the meanings.
HTH = Hope This Helped

Re: BFN tonight i'm so sad.
Ok I went in this morning and put in my temps. and now FF is saying that I still haven't O'ed yet. I don't know what is going on. I can't go to any kinda of DR. right now and find out what is going on untll I get some kind of insurance. For now I guess i'll just sit back and wait and see what happens and do like DH said let god take it into his own hands. Thank you girls so much it really helps talking to ya'll about everything.
(Yes i'm from the south I us the word Ya'll LOL)

Re: BFN tonight i'm so sad.
I don't think FF knows what it is doing I went in this morning before work and entered my temp. and now it is saying that I O'ed around my 31st DOC like it said the day before yesterday. So I guess i'll just waite and see if I start in a few weeks and if I don't then i'll take another test.

Re: BFN tonight i'm so sad.
can you post a link to your chart? I am just curious if it looks anything like mine usually does. I had a spontanious ovulation to concieve this child but when I was temping and stuff, TCOYF charting sofware would change my O date all teh tiem or say I was annovulitory. Hopefully ou can find out abotu your insurance or have benefits kick in soon so you can get some answers. Also, in case of any emergancy illness or anything, it is always good to have insurance too.

Re: BFN tonight i'm so sad.
Renee - her is a link to her chart (I got it from a previous thread. I hope you don't mind, Shannon). http://www2.fertilityfriend.com/home/7db82
Shannon - Poor thing! I can imagine how frustrating this must be for you! It sounds like all you can do now is wait. Good news- if you did ovulate on day 31, you did BD that day and it would be too early for a hpt to detect pregnancy. So there is some hope, I think. But, once you get your insurance straightened out, I hope can see a doctor. Even though your insurance may not cover fertility, you may be surprised what they can do for you. It can't hurt to ask.

Re: BFN tonight i'm so sad.
No Renee I don't mind thats fine. My temps seem to be staying up so I guess thats a good thing i'm not for sure i'm still new to all this temping and stuff. If I haven't started around Val. day (feb.14th) then i'm going to take another test I have one left from the other night. your right if I didn't O around the 31st day and I did con. then it was way to early for the test to pick it up. So lets all keep our fingers crossed that it happend then.

Re: BFN tonight i'm so sad.
Sorry to say, Your chart looks like mine did when I wasn't oing at all. Your temps are all over teh place, high and low and ther eisnt' a true coverline. What fertility friend is doing is disgarding 2-3 temps and looking for a 10-14 days consistancy in temps. Basically, it will keep changing your o date until you start af which may or may not happen because you haven't oed. (In my opinion.) My longest cycle was 181 days, so I understand your frustration. When I had that cycle, I knew something wasn't right and boy did I spend a lot of money on HPTs in that time!

Re: BFN tonight i'm so sad.
Yeah tell me about it if AF hasn't showed up by around the 14ths i'm going to go to my family dr. (who I can see for only $10.00) and see if she can give me some of those pills like she has before to make me start and see if that will get me on track. I'm having some cramping today but not to bad and my temps are now staying up so I don't know if thats good or not i guess we will see.
