Re: Aimee...
Thanks for checking on me. Right now I'm not doing so hot. I have a terrible cold and all I'm allowed to take is Tylenol cold and I have to force myself to take one dose of it just to help me through the day, I just feel so guilty. I don't know how women can do drugs and drink while they're pg. Other than that things haven't been going to bad. I had a little spotting scare a couple of weeks ago but I had HCG levels checked and my numbers are on the rise so that's good.
The m/s has improved greatly but I'm only taking prenats about every other day because they make me sooo sick. My first appt. on on Oct. 5 and I cannot wait, it's hard to believe that it's almost here. I was re-reading info the doc gave me and I will be able to hear the heartbeat when I go so I'm really excited for that. I was reading somewhere that the baby will start moving if the uterus is pushed on so even though I can't feel my little bean moving yet I still poke around and I get a kick out of knowing that it's fluttering around. That's what has been going on. I'll keep you all posted. Oh my summer clothes are starting to feel a little tight in the abdomen, thank goodness my work pants are still fitting good.

Re: Aimee...
Aimee - I'm sorry to hear about your cold! I hope once I am pregnant I won't have any problems with the prenatal vitamins. Right now I'm taking a one plus a folic acid supplement every night before going to bed, and I don't have any side effects from it. I take a fiber supplement every morning - do you know if that's safe to take while pregnant?

Re: Aimee...
I see that AF finally showed for you, did you end up having to get something from the doc? I took prenats and B-6 before getting pg and had no probs but afterwards the prenats are doing a number on me. I started taking B-6 to extend my LP because the month before I got pg it was really short so I was worried. However I've learned after becoming pg that B-6 helps with m/s especially if taken before you even get pg so you may want to consider taking that as well (I take 100mg). It makes me wonder how worse it would have been if I would have taken it. Anyway my ob said that if prenats were making me too sick I could take to Flintstone vitamins and I just started those today and did fine on them (I still take folic acid and b-6 seperately). Good luck with your first month charting and let me know if you have any questions.

Re: Aimee...
Good morning Aimee!
What is LP?
I do have a question. I have to get up several hours before my dh, so I can't take my temp in bed (don't want to turn on the light and wake him.) So I have to walk about 10 steps to the bathroom to take my temp - is this going to screw up my charting?
finally showed up of her own accord - 17 days late!!!
No fair! Tasty childrens chewable vitamins! (Just picking on you!)

Re: Aimee...
Good morning!
LP is the amount of days between O and AF the lowest time you want is 10 days (it sounds like yours is fine 17 days, hopefully that will go a bit for you though). Technically you are not suppose to even sit up on the side of the bed before you take your temp. What I would do is take my temp in bed and then walk to the bathroom to read it. A couple of times I would take it in bed and then retake after I walked to the bathroom and came up with the same results but a couple of other times there was quite a difference.
And children's vitamins aren't as tasty as what you may remember. I had a bit of a time getting them down.
And m/s is morning sickness.....yuck, plus it doesn't just happen in the morning.
Anywho have a good day!

Re: Aimee...
Thanks Aimee! In the morning, I'll try to take it in the dark before getting out of bed.
Sorry that I don't know all of the acronyms yet!
I wish you didn't have morning sickness! Hopefully that will pass for you soon!
I bought a vitamin supplement that is all of the B vitamins today - I read that the B vitamins are dependant on each other.
