Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of weaning my 11 month old. He has three feedings a day (morning, 1 am, and 5 am). I tried to night wean him last night and he cried and cried and I was frankly too tired to stay up and hear all that crying so I gave in. Is night weaning going to be that hard (all the crying)? He cried for at least thirty minutes last night and was standing up at his crib upset. I'd like to TTC baby #3 but it's been 11 months and no PPAF and I'm thinking that I'm going to have to completely wean him before TTC can actually happen. Any thoughts? My Webpage

I don't really have a lot of support ot offer, we waited until Asher started sleeping through the night on his own. I think he was about 18 months the very first time he did it and it didn't get regular until much later.

Have you tried comforting him in other ways, rather than just letting him cry? He might get more upset if you go in and don't nurse, but maybe you could send daddy in? Good luck!

William gets even more upset if I go in and try to hold him (as opposed to bfeeding him) and DH is so hard to wake up at night that I'm really the one doing the night shift. I guess we'll see how tonight goes.
