Weaning and af?
HOw long after weaning should I expect af? I know technically it can take up to 3 mos, but does it normally? Anyone know? I got it while bfing last time and got pg right away. This time I'm weaning b/c Evan has more allergies than I can keep up w/. We're not TTC, but we're not preventing either (not dtd much either though, lol). Just curious.

Re: Weaning and af?
I don't know as I got it while still bf'ing. I just wanted to wish you luck w/getting af back. I'm wondering if it'll stay away longer for me this time, too.

Re: Weaning and af?
Could be as quick as 2 weeks, but like you said it could take up to 3 months. I also get it while nursing, but I've seen most women who have to give up nursing to get it, usually do within a month

Re: Weaning and af?
Thanks. I had abundant cm today so I think I'm getting geared up to O, but who knows. I must be, b/c I keep thinking about TTC when I know I shouldn't!

I know how you feel, we aren't really TTC either, but around that time, I always want to and subsequently get into the 2ww!! LOL

Re: Weaning and af?
I got AF back exactly a month after I weaned my first DD. This time I got AF back while still bf'ing so of course now the babybug has hit me.

Re: Weaning and af?
It's been a little over 2 wks since I fully weaned, but the 2 wks before that we only did a few sessions a day. I've had cm for weeks now, but I think I 'might' have finally Oed. I gues I might be in the 2ww now as DH and I had a good Christmas.
