Default Quick question

My son is 7 months old. He is still nursing through the night but so was my other son when PPAF started at 9 months old. I ovulated last weekend. I know this from the physical signs, EWCM, CP etc. We did DTD sans protection. What are some of the noticable signs of pregnancy when you already have many signs since you are nursing. My bb's can't get any bigger. I am already hungry all the time. IF I actually get pregnant first time out, are there any symptoms to it besides the postive HPT?

I also have heard about people losing their milk supply when they get pregnant. How common is this and is there a way to avoid it if it starts. I want to nurse my son till he is a year plus he won't take a bottle period so I can't really lose the milk! LOL

Thanks!

I got PG when the DS#1 was 15 months and the second time I got PG when DS#2 was 10 months old. I never had any symptoms of being PG except for the + HPT....that is until morning sickness set in.

I have no idea if my supply went down....didn't really notice, but I know they say it does. I weaned DS#1 at 17 months and DS#2 at 13 months.

Good luck!

Becky

I did notice that I lost supply when I got pg but was able to continue a couple of months, usually. Of course, mine were older (between 12-20 months) and didn't nurse as often as a younger baby. My only for sure symptoms of pg are usually m/s at 6 wks.

It's the high-estrogen state of pg that *can* put a damper on your milk supply.....but lots of women nurse through being pg - some even go on to tandem nurse.....it can be done. You shouldn't "lose" your milk..... even if it takes a hormonally-induced dip, you should be able to recover from it just like building your supply during any growth spurt until it's back up to where it needs to be to sustain your baby. Good Luck!
