Icon5 Questions........

Hi, I'm new to this board but post frequently on other she knows boards. I have one daughter who is almost 18 months. We are still nursing but last week we started sleep training and drastically cut feedings. I was nursing on demand and co sleeping until 8 weeks ago. That was when I stopped nursing during daylight hours but continued night nursing. Up until 8 days ago we were co sleeping and nursing pretty much straight from 2am-6am. She just used me for comfort which I enjoyed but we are ready for our marital bed back so we have moved her to the crib. This week we have started CIO but I go in the room with her while she cries and soothe her but I do not pick her up until 6am. It's going slow but seems to be working. Here's my question: I have not had my first PPAF yet. Now we are only nursing for 5 minutes at 8pm and 5 minutes at 6am. Yesterday and today I really feel like I am ovulating and I also have a lot of clear, egg white cm. Since I day weaned, I have had more and more cm but now it finally seems like ovulation. Is it possible to get preggo before the return of PPAF? I actually wouldn't mind but my dh says he's done having kids for now. We DTD'ed a lot this week and Friday night so now I'm wondering if I could get preggo. I'm about 90% positive that I am O'ing right now because I am fairly aware of what my body does when I O. So thanks for making it this far. Let me know if anyone knows of any women who have gotten preggo prior to the return of PPAF?
Thanks again
Yasmin

It's very possible, and the later AF returns(>6 months post partum) the higher the chances of fertility returning all at once. kellymom.com has some interesting statistics on this(just got to kellymom.com and type in breastfeeding and fertility)
I've not gotten pg before first ppaf, but know people who have. Good luck!

It has never happened to me before but did happen to one of my good friends recently. She didn't actually find out until she was about 16 weeks along! So I know it can happen!! Her baby was 5 months old when she got pg and she was still nursing her a couple of times a day but supplementing with formula, too.
