Hello! I don't post much here, but should! We are ttc #2...I have an 8 month old DS and still nursing! I had my first PPAF last month and used to be very regular...but, I'm on cycle day 30 and no :AF...but I took a pg test and got a . So, when did your cycle regulate??? Thanks for any info!
1st cycle 40 days
2nd 32 anovulatory
3rd 33 LP 6 days
4th 31 LP 6 days
5th 31 LP 11 days
6th 29 LP 11 days
7th 31 LP 13 days
8th The cycle we got pregnant on!!

I'm on my fifth PPAF. I have finally been able to predict ovulation on CD16 two cycles in a row, and this month my luteal phase went from 10 to 14 days, so it seems to take a few cycles. Good luck!
Hi Mandy, many people have irregular PPAF while nursing. The best thing you can do is chart and pay close attention to your fertility signs. I did not get PPAF back until DS was almost 16 months old, it then took two cycles (and Prometrium) to get pg.
I didn't O till around cd 28 w/ my first cycle (my only cycle) and I usually have a 30 day cycle so it can take a while. I know a few moms have had their first cycle be a few MONTHS long! Good luck!

My first cycle was 3 months long I believe, the next was 2 months, then 6 wks, but I've always had irregular 4-12wk cycles. I do know several women who were very regular before pg but also had really long first cycles.
Hi Mandy! My first cycle was really short [like 21 days], then the next two were 40+ days. In one of them I got pregnant but had an early m/c. The cycle after that I got pregnant with William. Before I got PPAF back, I had breakthrough bleeding a few times, but no real AF.
