Icon5 New Here

Hi, I was doing search for information on TTC while BF and found this forum... YAY! I have a 14m/o DD and I haven't had my cycle return, but had O signs last month EWCM for about 4 days but didn't get a P and Preg Tests are Neg... CM dried up 2 weeks ago.

My daughter is nursing alot, and I don't have the heart to try night weening yet but as of today I am only going to let her nurse 3 times a day (it was more like 12).

Anyway, does anyone have any advice to speed things up?

Thanks

Hi and Welcome!! First off, how old is your dd? Cutting back will more than likely do the trick esp if your body is already trying to Ovulate( which is what it sounds like) Other than that, not a whole lot you can do to *make* your fertility return. So far I have not gotten AF either, but M is only 4.5months old, so I'm not in a hurry, just watching and waiting

Sorry, I just reread your post and you said that your dd is 14 months, I guess I should pay more attention! Anyway, the same goes though, cutting back should help, and sleeping through the night if she does that!

Thanks for the advice . I am partially co-sleeping (Jerrianna starts in her crib then I take her to my bed after the first time she wakes up), and she wakes up about 5 times a night, and just kind of stays at the breast the whole time... I am too lazy to night wean, but I am trying to space out the daytime nursing. Anyway, I just started taking vitex, I had a hard time getting pg with dd(took 9 months and I was 20), and the 1st cycle I took vitex I got pg(coincidence?)... I am ready for another one, I thought for sure that 5 days of ewcm was it...

Ive had the EWCM as well, and even WITH a temp rise, only for it to fall back down a couple days later, confusing, but apparently it's not uncommon as our bodies gear up to begin O'ing again, another frequent nursing session can push it back! Sounds like you do what we do, M starts off in his crib, but then ends up in ours!

Just wanted to say hi and welcome you! I really don't have any advice for you...I've heard girls on here say they completely weaned and still no AF for a while. Hopefully yours will show up soon though! Stick around and let us get to know you!

Thanks, I will stick around. It feels good to know there's a forum focused on ttc while nursing. I had a hard time getting pg w/ Jerrianna, and the dr said there was nothing wrong. I am hoping it's easier this time... When I have a free minute I'll do up my siggy )
