Default More Q's for everyone...

Hi all!
The baby is finally sleeping so I have to catch up on posting

I have a couple more questions...

Does anyone chart while BF'ing? Is there any point to it prior to PPAF?
If you do chart how do you do it? (I'm never up at the same time and rarely sleep more than 3 hours at a time)

Did you have any sign that AF was on her way? I have been having some very mild cramps and cm almost daily. Or is that normal to have while BF'ing...

Finally, anyone use the saliva ovulation predictor?

I have never charted while bf'ing and like you say, I never sleep more than a 3 hour stretch and rarely get up at the same time everyday. I did feel mild and sometimes heavy cramping for about 6 weeks prior to my first PPAF. However, my daughter was already 18 months old so I was definitely expecting it. I'll tell you, the key to my PPAF coming was the weaning at night. Do you still nurse at night? It really seems to make a huge difference when you do not nurse at night. We were nursing straight from 1-6am because we co slept and as soon as I moved Zahra to the crib and weaned the night feedings, my hormones came back. Hope that helps

Does anyone chart while BF'ing? Is there any point to it prior to PPAF? - I'm not charting yet, but I'm sure I will start soon. After Logan and Lance I started charting before PPAF. The only thing it told me was that I did O and I knew to expect AF soon (I did chart for a while before that happened though). Other than that, there really wasn't any reason to do it....I was doing it just to get back into the routine of taking my temp every morning.

If you do chart how do you do it? (I'm never up at the same time and rarely sleep more than 3 hours at a time) - Again I'm speaking from my past experiences, but I was lucky with both boys sleeping through the night by 2 months, so I almost always got the few hours of sleep before I had to take my temp. I always got up around the same time (within an hour) so I would just take it when I woke up. It was still easy to see O.

Did you have any sign that AF was on her way? I have been having some very mild cramps and cm almost daily. Or is that normal to have while BF'ing... - The only sign I had was being extremely sore when they would latch on....the same toe curling pain you get when they are first born and latch on, or when you don't have a good latch. I would get that around the time of O. Not sure why...

Finally, anyone use the saliva ovulation predictor? - I have one and used it, but I wouldn't rely on it. To me it is just a fun little thing to do to go along with charting. Sometimes it would fern when I O'd, sometimes it would just be partial and sometimes not at all.

Becky
