Thought I'd get those out of the way first cause that's what everybody REALLY wants to see, lol.

It looks more blob than bean like at this stage, #2 actually looks almost identical to one of Perry's at 10 weeks.
Well, DH did end up there after all, he had to go right back to work but he was THERE to see the u/s. And thank goodness because I was informed by the assistant nurses that they
ask that you restrain toddler age siblings in a stroller the whole time so they don't "get under the pg mamas feet", uhhhh,

let's shield the new moms from motherhood in a couple years huh!!!
Real annoying, there were always kids at my civilian OB, maybe this is not just a navy thing but I'll blame them anyways, they have such weird stiff rules sometimes. We'll see how long that lasts next appt. james is gone and perry is in the non-moving stroller for an hour, he doesn't do strollers, that should be fun!
Sooo anyways! It went well, the nurse midwife was really great. Everything looks great, I wanted a transvaginal but she tried belly first and said it was a good enough image. With Perry the transvag around this point just looked much clearer. We saw arm buds move, looked like it waved at us, lol, and the heart is beating great. We couldn't hear it becase even she said it was too early, maybe in a couple weeks my doppler will pick it up.
I had a brief anxious moment when she said 9w1d for the measurement. Yes I am loopy, I know up to 5 days off is ok, but as you can see on the pics she got 3 different measurements so maybe babe was curled up or streching at various times, basically we are due 9-4-05 to 9-8-05. I am not going to worry about THAT anymore, lol.
I feel a lot better, like I can actually start to bond more with the little bean now. I still have my worries but I am just trying to focus on the fact that I now have a healthy baby growing inside of me.
