Ok so today is CD26 and I'm not sure when I should be expecting AF to show up. I think not knowing when she's going to show is worse then the 2WW, at least then you know when to expect her. Last cycle was my first pp and was 43 days long. Can I expect this cycle to be that long too? I know that when I went off BCP before I got pg with my ds I had long irregular cycles that got shorter until my BFP. I've had some EWCM last week so would I count 2 weeks from that as a rough estimate to when AF might show?

Hmmm, well you could use the ewcm as your O guideline but I wouldn't really count on it. BF'ing can really alter your cycles. If your little guy is bf'ing more or less than usual it could alter your cycle completely. When I got my first PPAF after DD#1 was born it was a normal 34 day cycle from the beginning but a lot of women have irregular cycles while bf'ing. Maybe try some OPK's and of course just watch your cm and dtd like mad!

My first cycle after DS1 was 105 days long, they got shorter ever cycle after that, with my 5th (and bfp) being about 38 days. I was able to predict when AF would show based on CM and CP to point O and then my 12 day lp. Right now I debate on actually charting, I'm on cd 111 of my first cycle after having DS2 (now 10 months). We're not trying/not preventing and I find it hard when I actually know when I'm possibly ovulating, but it would be nice to know when AF might show!
