Default Hi, I am new here

and I have a question.

I recently started weaning my DS, Dylan who is now 13.5 months old. About 5 weeks ago he was nursing 4 times a day. Once a week I eliminated a session and we are down to just the bed time nursing. Just yesterday I got my first PPAF (probably could have continued with the morning and bed time nursing and gotten her, as I was pretty confident I ovulated about 2 weeks ago).

I am wondering if it is possible for your LP to change or if BFing plays a factor in its length? Before getting pregnant my LPs averaged about 15 days. According to the signs my body gave me, then my LP this cycle was only 11 days.

As I understand it, your "normal" may change after having a baby, whether you breastfeed or not. Also, bfing can cause a shorten luteul phase, or it may take several cycles to get any semblance of a normal. So basically, just because your LP this time was 11 days doesn't mean it will stay that way, but it won't necassarily go back to 15 days either.
