Just lurking here with a question. I had EWCM two weekends ago but didn't get too hopeful that I was ovulating since I'm nursing a 5-month-old and have irregular periods.

On Saturday night, I had two streaks of red blood and a couple small brown clots. I haven't had anything since.

Anyone had this happen? What do you think? (I got a BFN this morning on a cheapie test.)

I'm sorry, I don't know. Haven't had that happen to me. Perhaps implantation spotting?

I had some brown spooting about 2.5 wks ago, 4 days after dtd with fertile cm and possibly fertile cp and thought for sure it must have been implantation spotting, but 3 hpts later says otherwise. I'm testing again tomorrow b/c today I've got a headache, nausea and am extremely hot, but am betting it's just funky bfing hormones.

Same here, I had some spotting, thought it was O spotting, then some spotting starting 9 days later(and off and on for a week), thought it might be implantation spotting, but -'s also(2 days after spotting) and my temps dropped so I don't know, still no AF at all, and more EWCM today and yesterday I guess it's fairly common, like breakthrough spotting?
Have you resumed your AF yet at all?

I haven't had any more spotting (no AF since Sam either to answer your question).

I took another pg test today...BFN again.

I think it's just random spotting now, so back to life as usual!

I had weird spotting/AF and some EWCM for a couple months before my normal PPAF returned around 7-9 months PP. I think it was my body slowly gearing up. Sounds like that's what it might be for you.

I am currently bfing my 9 month old in the evening and mornings before I go to work. Nov. 8th I got my first PPAF 14 days after I had EWCM. I was excited because my husband and I felt like we are ready to try for #2. I continued to monitor CM and use the OPK and should have had AF on Dec 6th. 3 days leading up to Dec. 6th I had very light spotting. I thought for sure AF would show, but it did not. Then I thought maybe it was implantation bleeding. I waited a week after my AF was due and tested using HPT and it came back neg. I tested again this week and it was still negative. I feel like I am going crazy. Can breastfeeding throw me off this much?
