After first ppaf.....
are your cycles regular? When do you ovulate? Is ovulation the same as it was prior to pregnancy or does it seem to be a longer cycle for most women? My daughter is 19 mos old and I just got my first ppaf. I always have hade 30 day cycles, ovulating around day 16. Should I expect the same cycle length now? Also, do you always ovulate if still bf'ing?
Thanks

Re: After first ppaf.....
I think every woman is different. For myself, once ppaf comes back it is regular and I ovulate after the first cycle. My first cycle is always anovulatory-like a warning cycle. I have gotten pg right away after my first cycle for 5 of my children and I was bf'ing each time(my kids were all over a year when I got pg while bf'ing except for my first who was 8 months old). Hope that helps! Your little one is adorable!!!

Re: After first ppaf.....
I agree with Robin, every woman is different! For me, I always O before I get my first PPAF, and in between every cycle, though the last few times it has taken longer for me to be *fertile* again. My cycles weren't much longer(2-3days), but I O'd about a week later, so I had a short luteal phase, too short to sustain a pg, until a later cycle.

Re: After first ppaf.....
Hi everyone. How are you? I've been shopping all weekend without the kids and it's been wonderful. I'm just about done. I have to do some baking as i'm going to use that for gifts for neighbors, etc. I love this time of year, but it sure has been busy. This year is just flying by.
My brother wants to appeal his case and i have mixed emotions on it. I don't want to see my parents throw away thousands of dollars. A lawyer called him at the prison and gave him false hope. I later found out that this lawyer likes to take $$$ and run. However, it gave him false hope and my parents false hope. I just feel he should do his time. I read that the statistics are against him and he only has a 25% chance of lowering his sentence. I just needed to vent...Thanks for listening.

Re: After first ppaf.....
So far, mine have been different from how they were. I had textbook cycles before and now they are... well, confusing, LOL. I had a 7 day AF and immediately ovulated... I'm talking the day after AF stopped. We'll see if I have a really long LP or if this is just a really short cycle.

Re: After first ppaf.....
After DS#1 I O'd before my first AF, but my LP was only 3 days long. The next cy was 56 days long, O on day 47
then 36 day cy, with no O
after that it was pretty much a 29-32 day cy, with O on days 19-22 (normal for me)
I don't have my charts printed off from after DS#2, but I think it was about the same.
