I have a problem... Was STTN but stopped?

Okay, so at 8mo, I was exhausted and emotional, so we started CIO. It worked beautifully. By day 4 he was STTN for 11hrs +!!! Now, 9mo 3wks tomorrow, he's quit STTN... At first it was one or two wakings, then it has progressed to every 90min. Only now he won't fall asleep at the breast so I have to take him back to his bed for him to get back to sleep. I'm exhausted again and wondering what happened? is this just teething? Will it go back to normal? HELP!!!!
