Icon5 Question about 2 year old

Hey there,

I hope you don't mind me jumping in. My daughter is hearing impaired, as well has having developmental delays. We have tried signing in the past and she really wasn't ready. Now she is She has started using the sign for more and all done. I am just wondering what signs you use on a daily basis? I don't want to overwhelm her but would really like her to get the hang of some basic signs to ease the frustration she has with communicating. What signs does your toddler or baby use the most? What ones did you find most helpful for you? Thanks so much for your time. I look forward to getting to know all of you.

We do these signs everyday:
more
thank you
eat
milk
please
play

There are a lot more that they do, but these are the ones I think we do on a daily basis. I usually introduce a new word once a week and we do it all week long. My dd is 2.5 and picks them up pretty well. My ds is starting to sign more and more.

I know you posted this a long time ago, but just in case you still lurk around here and are in need of a few signs, we use milk, water, eat, more, all done and help. Help was a biggie for us. She rarely tantrums--I don't know if it's her age, or her personality or the fact that she can communicate, but I love watching her ask for help. It's been great!
