Icon5 How do you help them sign the difference between...

...eat and thank you. My 14 month old doesn't seem to grasp that I'm teaching him that his hand comes "away" from his mouth when he says thank you and "to" his mouth when he says eat.

that one takes a while. 14 months is still young. i found dd to refine a lot of signs around 18 months & now at 2 she's getting even more specific.
