We can't forget www.signingtime.com. Their new kid's section has fun games to play, too.

I bought the full DVD gift set collection at signingtime.com. I thought they were excellent.

I've really liked the Signing Time DVDs...I bought Your Baby Can Talk - but my DS isn't too interested in it...we just bought Baby Signing Time volume 1 & 2 - and we had Signing Time - First Signs - but as he's not quite a year old...I thing the Baby Signing Tapes are more interesting for him.

Anyway - I'll check out the sites...but I have found that since we've started playing the DVDs in conjunction with our signing - he is picking it up faster!

So how many of you are taking the signing beyond the signing time videos. I have them all and I have to admit, I was all gung ho in the beginning. Then I got lazy. My oldest knows them, but he is starting to forget because we don't work on it. And I wish my 2 year old knew more. We are coming across more and more people with hearing problems that sign and I am kicking myself for not working on it more vigilantly.

So how do you moms do it, that are doing it more actively. With 2 boys, I'm tired all the time. But I need to be more active in my teaching them things.

Hi Starket,

Its so easy to let the signing go by...LOL. I put on the signing DVD's often - I try at least 4 times a week. I usually do it when I have a captive audience...like when he is in his highchair (and not otherwise RUNNING!) He really loves to watch them while he is having his snack and some milk...

I also just try to remind myself to do it all the time regardless of whether I am talking to my husband or my son so that it becomes a habit (I will tell you I don't always do the best at this) but it also keeps it in front of my DH to remind him as well.

I don't figure he'll be a wizard at this...but hopefully will at least be able to communicate. Good luck!

Fabel
