Hi!
My name is Adria. I have one sweet baby girl, Leah Ella. She was born Sept 29th, 2004. I am apart of the Marvelous Mums....
My background is in sign...My undergrad was Speech and HEaring science and I just got my masters in teaching. I dream of being a sign language teacher in an elementary classroom setting.
That said, I am trying to sign with Leah. She can sign "all done" and "milk". I think she tries to do "mom", but she moves her fingers too much for me to really think so. I do "more" with her and others....She is a quick learner.
I have been anxious to see other mommies and signing. I hope to be able to share with you ladies and gain some new insights...

Welcome. I'm new to this board too I didn't know we had it. I've been signing with my dd since she was 9 months. She is now 23 months and knows TONS of words.



They pick it up sooooo fast once they are about 16 months. My dd will pick new signs up easily now at 23 months but she also has a good strong verbal vocabulary too so I haven't done a lot of new ones lately but I should.
You will be soo shocked by the way she will pick them up in the coming months too and you with your background know tons more than I do.
